McDonald’s on occasion is thing. The longer you resist it the better it is when you finally cave and eat a burger. Here’s a little trick. You can order cheese burgers with Mac sauce. Super delicious.

Because you’re extremely drunk or haven’t eaten in days? Just looking for a plausible explanation.

The correct answer is food scientists. McDonald’s has an entire laboratory dedicated to figuring out the right amount or whatever materials they use to make their food.
They’re basically engineered

Because they switched to frozen patties? It’s a subjective taste

A McD’s opened in my city recently, the first one here ever (non-US), and my kids were so excited to go (because they’d heard of mcds from youtube videos, lol). I ordered a triple cheeseburger for myself, expecting it to be mid at best. It was surprisingly not bad. Didn’t blow my mind, but it tasted like hot salty beef, no off-flavors, not a meatloaf-sandwich (like most local burger joints, ugh). Sometimes you just want that old familiar flavor.
The fries were worse than I remembered though.

Idk about canada, but in the us when you order with the app you can add two more patties to the qp w/ cheese. So you can order a 1lb. burger and it’s only $10.19 if you don’t add anything. It’s $15.26 if you add bacon, extra cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Haven’t had one in almost a year, might have to do it again soon 😅

Occasionally you get a fast food burger where the ingredients are from a recent shipment and the cook is just the right level of high that it’s truly a delightful experience.
