Growing up, my mom and my non-na would often make pasta for Jolie, which translates to pasta and beans. A classic Italian dish that’s both comforting and nourishing. Packed with fiber richch beans, vegetables, and herbs, it’s a budget friendly option that always hits the spot. It’s great for an easy weekn night dinner or pregame pasta. Give it a go.

Love this dish so good
Tracca, would your mumma and nonna have added canned beans?
Looks hearty hey
I miss my beautiful Nonna. She lived in Wandin and Lilydale the (gateway to the Yarra valley – Victoria) there was always plenty of access to fresh produce in the area and my Nonno who grew basically everything in the backyard, including tomatoes for passata and borlotti beans which would go well in this dish. there house still stands in Wandin but not owned by us anymore. Such fond memories.
