What beans did you use? Is it a medium roast? I love that rich brown crema right from the start—looks beautiful!

I have the same scale! Does the weight digits “lag” on yours? Like sometimes feeling like it updates every 1 sec?

Perfect crema 👍

No tasting notes so we just have to take your word on it being perfect, I guess?

What grinder do you use? Different than the built in?

What did you hit the program button first for? Seeing you do that is making me wonder if it’s possible to program my BBE to use less pressure when pulling shots. I get hella channeling without holding down the button to keep it at preinfusion pressure for the duration of the shot.

Bet it tasted bitter as hell

Can I ask please which grind size settings and burr settings? Is this 3 burr? What’s the portafilter brand? Thanks 🙂

What scale is this? Also wondering if you generally keep your burr setting on the finest? I often struggle to get my beans fine enough on the grinder

A perfect shot of espresso!! Wish I could do the same with my machine

Needed more pre-infusion IMO.

That’s really pretty. Looks so creamy.

Hi, do you ever just use manually, press hood for pre infusion then let go for it to ramp up?
BasedJon
Hey what Portafilter is that?

“That’s why I say ‘Hey Man, Nice Shot'”.
“Good shot, man.”

Beautiful. How hard are those bottomless style portafilters to clean between brews vs the ones with the 2 spouts?

What Sage? I have barista Express, never this good shots! And what portafilter?
sukaface
So for me. You see how the beginning where there are some spots you can still see the ports filter before water comes out from the whole thing into a single stream, my pucks stay like that.
Is it a puck prep problem I’m having or is “espresso rain” ok?
