Just thought it was worth a share. The steak was definitely the centerpiece.

I can see the real food of the gods in the background: the Ritz crackers

Ohhh this is my fave trio. If you wanted to sub out shrimp, go with bay scallops. Nothing better than salty, buttery, tender bay scallops.

I’ve never understood why people completely cut a steak into bite sized pieces before eating. Is it just for the pictures? Exposing more surface area will lead to more rapid heat loss and cold bites at the end.

  9. As I was scrolling I, at a quick glance, thought this was a bowl of cereal…

I’m so jealous. You have no idea. These are all my favorite things AND it’s cut up in small pieces. I always cut my stuff up in pieces because I’m an actual fucking child. But it looks great and I’m so happy for you i hope it’s so yummy 🙂👍

For context on the title of the post, lol… it was the first words out of my child’s mouth when walking into the kitchen right before plates were made. “Oooo, steak and mushies and skrimp. Yay!”
