I think you need to close your vents a wee bit!

  2. huffbuffer

That is textbook blue smoke. Let us know how it turns out, OP.

Need to open that bottom vent to get some more oxygen in. Smoke is a just a little dirty. Should have a blue hue to it, like the sky behind it

That’s the smoke signal all the neighborhood dads love to see when someone’s smoking. “Honey, look down the city at Jim’s smoke! I told you I need a new smoker!”

  5. Man_Without_Nipples

Mmm gonna get a good bark…I just know it!

I mean, *I guess* you can use gasoline to help start the fire but you might wanna add a little more for good measure.

  7. Reminds me of pooping myself after my first smoke thinking billowing white smoke was best

Your neighbors might complain about that one. Lol

What kind of wood are you using you using to produce that? Drywall?

Your brisket is not yet ready to be Pope.

I like the flavor profile that goodwill allseason tire chunks gives for both pork and chickens

Damn, you must of bought the family pack of brisket at Costco to need that much smoke. Good luck bro…

Heat too low. Open up those vents a tad for more airflow .

Close that top exhaust vent up a little other wise you are losing a lot of the heat and smoke, it will affect that smoke ring. Remember low and slow, closing that top vent slows that combustion keeping the heat low.

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say you added a smoke tube? Looks like Hickory, but is there a chance you over seasoned it with fresh pepper?
