Jjim Dak with cheese (sweet and spicy) goes great with Korean beers, but what beer would be best?

    Never had this. I thought jjim dak was soy sauce based and came with flat japchae noodles. Does this taste similar to dakgalbi?

    Kloud. the more hoppy flavors will contrast well with the spicy sweet flavors. If you want clean/crisp, then Hite/Cass would be fine.

    Going outside of Korean beers, I’d prefer a Boddingtons ale or for wine, a nice chilled Sauvignon Blanc (crisp citrus pares well with this dish).
