How is it compared to doing la 3-2-1 smoke method?

I made these for 4th of July using my preferred seasoning blend and finished them on the grill with homemade BBQ sauce. I am never doing ribs any other way. I already had a recipe and method that I swore by and Kenji’s method blew that out of the water. (Into the water?)
