Does anyone have any secrets to make it better ? It was a solid 8 for taste but I shoot for 10’s

    Made a quick marinerra onions garlic herbs salt pepper a splash of balsamic vinegar and canned tomatoes +some sugar it cooked for 45 minutes added heavy cream let it cook for 15 added good shredded parm let it cook for another 5 mixed it together with pasta ( had to use 1lb elbows didn’t have enough pene) tossed on some mozzarella and provolone thought about baking it but I didn’t want it to dry out fresh parsley at the end for more green should have used basil . Of coarse it would be better with a fresh tomato sauce or pancetta but I was cooking for vegetarians and didn’t have fresh tomatoes.

    With all that shredded cheese on top you should’ve oven baked it, would’ve given it a nice crust. Parsley could be added after if you still want the color.
