Its totally okay! Have a few extra glasses of water to help mitigate the bloated feeling and start the low-cal goal again in the morning. Youre doing great and a grandma’s birthday is a great reason to go a little off-plan!!

Recognize that you’re human, that the whole point of this is to be able to enjoy life and live life the way you want, and that one day does not define you. You I bet had fun and enjoyed yourself, and most of the time, a mental health break for a day to enjoy time with family and relax is completely worth it. You are not going to just eat at 1200 for the rest of your life or the rest of your journey, so this is good practice in taking your foot off the gas for a day, and getting right back to it without punishing or overcompensating for it the next day. It will happen again. A “how long can I eat at 1200” streak is sort of silly if it means you are passing up opportunities to live life now and enjoy foods that don’t always fit. Take the time to learn to balance these days while you still have the weight to lose.
