And I’m going to put one stick of unsalted butter and um in my casserole dish and pop it right in the oven. Okay, now we’re going to get to peeling our peaches. We’re going to need four cups of peaches. We’re going to peel them, slice them up right here in our bowl. I went to the grocery store and they had fresh peaches and they were gorgeous. You could smell them. So, when you can smell peaches, it’s time to make a cobbler. I’m just going to slice them up. Can slice them whatever length you want. You don’t want them too thin, though. You don’t want them to be almost dissolved in your cobbler. And since we need four cups, we’re gonna need about six nicesized peaches. And they are so juicy. Oh my goodness. If there’s any brown spots or anything, just make sure you cut them out. But I did try to pick out some really good peaches. They were soft and just smelled to high heaven. They smelled so good. [Applause] Oh, these peaches. I just look at that. I just want to eat it. Okay, I think that is what we have. I’m going wash up my hands. Okay, this crust is so easy, guys. Super easy. We need one cup of self-rising flour. Just one cup. One cup of self-rising flour. One cup of granulated sugar. We just throw it right on in. And one cup of milk. One cup of milk. Okay, we’re just going to whisk it around. This is it. Okay, now we’re going to get out our casserole dish with our butter. And that butter is Oh, smells really good. Now, we’re just going to pour in our ingredients right on top of that um cooking butter, that hot butter. [Applause] Now, we’re just going to pour in our four cups of peaches. We’re just going to put it right in. We’re not going to stir it. We’re not going to do anything. We’re just going to put these peaches right on it. That’s it. Sprinkle in one teaspoon of cinnamon right over the top. and your house is fixing to smell super good. And remember, your uh casserole dish is hot, so make sure you lose uh use your gloves. Okay, we’re going to bake at 350° for about 45 to 50 minutes. This is our peach cobbler. Look at that. Isn’t that gorgeous? I cannot wait to give it a try.

  1. I split my peaches in half with my hands-on the little ridge on the back and pull the pit out then you can lay them flat and slice them pretty, and you really don't have to peel them at all, just slice them thin

  2. Good afternoon Miss Frannie. You're blouse is so pretty, it matches the peaches! I love peaches – pies, cobbler or icecream you name it! I bet your house smells devine!! 🍑 🍑 🍑

  3. I love peaches. We've had trouble finding some peaches here in SouthCentral Va. Otherwise, i would have made me a fresh peach cobbler. I have made one with canned peaches. Yours looks great.

  4. I think I would add some sugar to the peaches while you make the batter so they can develop a syrup. I like my cobbler juicy😆

  5. One of my favorite cobblers: Peach cobbler!!! We have such wonderful fresh fruit year round. A local grower has the best fruit and I buy a whole “lug” box of peaches (about 16” x 20”, 2” high). They are eaten one by one, with cottage cheese, in plain yoghurt, or in a cobbler! YUM!!! ❤

  6. Hey Sweet Frannie Jo. So happy to see you. I’m sorry I’m late, but I just woke up from a catnap. I’m lazy today. 😱😨😳🤣😂.I love peaches any way you fix it. Love and prayers for everyone.❤️🙏🌹🌷

  8. This is just how I make my peach cobbler and it is so delicious! Your top is so cute, in fact, you look just “peachy”.

  9. My grandmother used to make this with a dry yellow cake mix dumped on top of the peaches. She them topped it with a few pats of butter. It always amazed me how it came out perfectly mixed and cooked! I prefer my cobbler with pie crust on top, but this is sure easier.
