I'm new to growing peppers, I know corking is neutral-to-good, this just seems like a lot?

This plants neighbor has virtually no corking and larger peppers. So I'm just curious if there's something I'm doing wrong

Occasionally I will get peppers like that during the heat of the summer

Those look like your plant is well taken care of

The peppers with corking always seem to be hotter to me. 🥵They look ready. Maybe try smoking them on a bbq and making chipotles

Corking is highly desirable for some people(like me)

Corking according to my knowledge happens when the fruit grows at a very fast speed. (Kinda like stretch marks.)

So, I believe this pepper plant is extremely healthy.

No, I’ve seen jalapeños that look like more cork than pod!

There’s a variety of jalapeño that pretty much the whole thing corks
