The flavor of this pasta is AMAZING but for me,
It was a little too al dente. Is that a preference thing or is that how it’s supposed to be if I were to be eating pasta in Italy? I definitely carb crashed big time from this meal during lunch so I’ll keep it a dinner option, lol

Love Artipasta! They are so kind and I got to hear their story about how they came from Italy. They deserve all the best.

It also helps that the pasta is fantastic!

I literally had this yesterday for lunch. It doesn’t look as appetizing in the to-go box compared to how it looked plated at the restaurant. The homemade pasta has such a great chew and the whole dish just felt so wholesome as a ate it. I’m already excited to go back. I need to try the spaghetti with clams or mussels.

  3. To answer your question, yes, al dente is how it’s supposed to be/authentic to Italy.

I was never a huge fan of Italian food until I tried this place!

Does it have a marsala sauce flavor to it?

Realize I sound like a snobby food critic from The Menu here, but that is a very split emulsion and not what I’d expect from such a well regarded Italian restaurant in Austin.

I tried their tagliatelle with house sauce last week for the first time. While the sauce was fine, the tagliatelle were too tick. I think they were not hand made and without egg yolk. Overall, they were too expensive.

Artipasta is yummy but man it has all the ambiance of a surgical ward.

had a very bad experience here, the vibes were all off and the food was bland. also the staff were very aggressive about the fact that they are “authentic italian”
