Not dubai if there’s no flaky pastry in there

I’m almost afraid to try the flavor combo now with all the pop-culture shit around it. It sounds like it could be a good paring but just not with the Dubai naming.

Every image I’ve seen of the stuff just looks…nasty. Imagining the texture of the “strings” skeeves me out.

Why is this a thing all of a sudden? Does Big Pistachio have a surplus they need to get rid of?

San Antonio farmers market at the Pearl has a “Dubai chocolate” booth and it’s just dark chocolate with some pistachios lmao!

Not gonna lie, one of the best desserts I’ve had recently was Dubai chocolate mousse cake. But there was pistachio cream and salted pistachio-filo crunchies and it was just amazing. It was just put together in a really skilled way.

  8. I can’t think about Dubai chocolate without thinking about Dubai porta-potties.

I coulda told you chocolate/pistachio/dough was a good combination in middle school I literally invented “the green stuff” where you get a scoop of mint chocolate chip icecream and a scoop of pistachio, preferably with cookie dough, and then you just guess each bite what you’re going to get.

If anyone lives in St. Pete, Valkyrie Bakery has amazing Dubai chocolate donuts. They are vegan, too.

We have a pistachio tiramisu on the menu right now and I’m really hoping that the owner doesn’t get this exact fucking idea…

I love pistachio anything, but I quit sugar for a diet back in November (down 65 pounds, hey!) and I just can’t bring myself to eat a candy bar anymore, but I feel like I would like it
