One of my three cucumber plants pretty much only produces twisted and curled cucumbers, any ideas why? They're all the same variety from the same seed packet and the others are "normal" straight cucumbers. Not only do they curl they also tend to be thick at the top and bottom and skinny in the middle.
I know this one was very prematurely harvested but it was crowding another one that was a bit straighter and I have plenty cucumbers coming in anyway

Keep seeds stabilize genetics
I’d def harvest the seeds and see if they produce more like this. Interesting. Some kind of monstrose maybe?
Following to see if someone who knows wth they’re talking about (not me lol) has an explanation
Have some fun. Paint them brown. Then leave them for your neighbours…
Wow your garden loves you, it even put a ring on you 🥰
Are they all getting same amount of water? Many vegetables in the garden will do that if there is inconsistent watering. Also very high temps and high humidity can cause it.
Have you tried more water? Cucumbers need a lot of water.
I’d say genetics. Keep the seeds
Hehe cute xoxo
I read on here once that it was a pollination issue. I’m growing a Japanese variety. I water regularly but half of them curl like yours.
It’s not properly pollinated, cucumbers do this when they don’t get enough pollen, try to plant more pollinator attracting plants or you can hand pollinate them.
Could be a lack of water or flower thrip damage. Silver marks on the skin indicate thrip damage.
This can happen with hybrids
They are sleepy.
They look like little snakes
How much do you charge to grow a bangle?
the plant is stressed in some way. the middle part likely has no seeds.
