These easy oven baked ribs are fall off the bone tender with a dry smoky rub, slow roasted then glazed with bbq sauce.
Let me tell y’all, these oven baked barbecue ribs ain’t nothing to play around with. Okay, that’s what I’m talking about right there. First, you want to remove the membrane on the back of the ribs. Next, you want to make a dry rub. And this is key to getting all the flavor up in those ribs. Mine is a mix of cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a few more things. And we’re going to add some brown sugar to the mix. Take the dry rub and season the ribs all over with this. Add about a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar will help tenderize the meat. 300° for about 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours. The 2 and 1/2 hours are up. So, I like to unwrap the ribs and just check to make sure that they are tender. Brush the ribs down with barbecue sauce. Now, putting the ribs back in the oven just for a few minutes on the broiler just so the barbecue sauce gets caramelized and sticky to the ribs. Look at that. Falls right apart. Yeah.

My mom used to make ribs in the oven for us. Little Mexican lady who knew nothing about bbq but made the best ribs in the oven.
Ok I’m usually intimidated by ribs but I’m going to try this.
They look really good.
