My wife and I have done a ton of different and extreme diets over our 9 years of marriage. I don’t know why we never considered the Mediterranean Diet but here we are, one week in. I feel so good. Less bloating, more energy and weirdly more full.

What tips do you all have for new recipes and for quick meals?

    I like to get a variety of grains (barley, cracked corn, quinoa, brown rice, etc etc) and boil them up, then freeze in portions. They make a great salad topper: complex carbs in the form of whole grains that will take any dressing and defrost double-quick. Green salads, bean salads, you name it.

  3. I can never wrap my head around how the Mediterranean diet is actually a diet. It’s so much more flavorful and delicious than any other food choices(at least to me). And the most evidence for improved longevity, decreased heart disease and other health conditions.
