I really want this someday, someone convince me to buy it at this price.

I have an old kettle 18” and a Weber gas grill. Getting into smoking and grilling lately, but it’s only my wife and I so no big cooks.

This seems like overkill, I didn’t realize it was so big

Could I resell this in a few years for this price? I may move abroad and was planning on buying it after the move.

Almost left with one yesterday. I had to really fight the urge.

None of the Costco’s in SoCal carry them in store sadly

This is a fantastic price for this grill. If you want into grilling like a man seek out the Komodo!

  4. Would be hard to pass up at $800. They sold out at my Costco at $1000

  5. This is a great deal! I bought this at $999.99 and absolutely love it. My warehouse hasn’t had it anymore for over a month now. Someone is going to get an incredible deal on this thing.

I paid $1199 for mine and am very happy with it. Grab one

At that price, why not get a Kamado Joe or big green egg? Those companies have been at kamados for longer.

  8. If you want an excellent charcoal grill, I think $800 is what these should be sold at so yes I’d say jump on it. But if you want a smoker, I’d say stick with your kettle or pick up a smokey mountain.

Do these take a while to get to temp? I thought a kettle is more versatile but I haven’t researched these in great depth.

How the heck are people finding these crazy deals. I’ve not seen one good deal for a Weber at my local Costco’s ever… I’m jealous as hell.

Better off with a regular Weber kettle and a Weber smokey mountain. The WSM is a better smoker and the kettle can do everything.

At what location is this being sold?

  13. A few of these deals popping up on here at the moment.

Is Weber running these out for a new model?

  14. Now that they’re flooding the suburbs from Costco, I’ll pick up a used twice one off Craigslist in a year or 2.

I grabbed one last weekend in STL/St Peters MO for $600.00 which might be the bottom price for clearance. It was the last and was the floor model.

In just a week I can say this might be the best all around grill/smoker option Weber offers. After using a 22”, 26” and WSM I think this could be the one cooker that can do everything extremely well with the 2 levels for charcoal placement and also the diffuser option for full 24” grill smoking. Good responsiveness to vent adjustments up and down in temp. You can’t bring a ceramic down in temp this fast. I would not hesitate at the 799.00 price either. Originally $1099.00 price from Costco and $1399.00 list from Weber.

I would like one of those, but I have too many grills already. I’ll love for a used one down the road. Enjoy your new Summit!

The problem is I do not know how to convince my wife.

How do these compare to the big green egg? I’m looking into buying a large green egg but these are tempting.

Get it!! It is 1100 at Costco.com for me in San Diego. I wish I could get it for 800

Ugh, still looking like 1099 in Texas area. I’ve been watching this one for a while.

What makes these better than the kettles? I keep seeing them pop up

It’s truly one of the greatest things I ever got. I use it multiple times every week if I am home. Just freaking awesome.
