Ive meal prepped for the first time. I burned the brown rice that was gonna be with it lol but I feel like it’s still gonna be tasty. And it’s low sodium which I’m going for. I am proud not gonna lie. Each one is 335 calories and 40 grams of protein 😛

Please post your recipe(s) / list of ingredients!

We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!

  2. You should be proud, my friend. Perfection is the enemy of good enough, as they say. Even “not super healthy” prepped meals are way healthier than most things that most people order from a takeout restaurant or pick up in a drive thru. Eat that tasty food that you prepped and improve on it next time. It’s an art, not a science.

For my part, I prep unhealthy breakfast burritos that have no veggies because I love them. But they’re still half the calories and fat of a mcgriddle in the drive thru, and I know where every ingredient came from. It’s still a win even if it’s not the perfect food.

Add some sauce or salsa on the side and you’re golden.

Looks awesome! Instead of brown rice try white rice and lentils cooked in low sodium broth with some spices. It’s gotten me eating more rice.

this isn’t just food prep, it’s a declaration of self-care in action. good job, OP!
