Hi all! I have been calorie counting for a while now & am trying to develop a better sense for estimating things as I slowly shift into eating out/away from rigidity. I estimated 109 calories for this 0.64lb bit of fruit. 21 calories for the pineapple (around 0.25 cup), 12 calories for the watermelon (0.25 cup approx), 20 calories for the slice of kiwi (it’s not super thick so I just guesstimated) & around 56 calories for the mixed melon (approx’d 1 cup). I think this may be a little low for the actual estimate.

I know it’s not a huge deal to overestimate or underestimate fruit that is generally lower calorie than say, a banana. I’m mostly asking to see how to improve my approximation of calories so I can get over my fear of eating out (which I’ve developed through my weight loss process). Would appreciate any help! Thank you!

(PS sorry for the weird photos. My nails r hideous and my phone is constantly bugging out lol)
