Episode 7: When most people think of specialty food shops, they picture a place focused on just one thing. But for us at Olive Oil Divine, it’s always been about creating a culinary wonderland that goes far beyond olive oil.
When you walk into our store, one of the first things you’ll see is our imported Italian pasta section. These aren’t your average grocery store pastas — we carry organic options, nest pastas, and fun shapes in flavors like tomato basil. We’ve got over thirty different varieties to choose from. And what’s pasta without the perfect sauce? We stock seven small-batch pasta sauces, and our personal favorite is the Tuscan sun-dried tomato sauce — it’s like a creamy Alfredo, absolutely delicious. You’ll even find salsas and pizza sauces tucked in there too, making it a little paradise for home cooks.
Next up — our drink mixers. These are non-alcoholic, small-batch mixers made with real juices and no preservatives. Flavors like Citrus Agave, Strawberry, Sweet Peach, and Lemon — perfect for mixing with your favorite spirits or enjoying on their own.
And then, there’s the olive selection. We have everything from queen olives stuffed with lemon peels, cream cheese, feta, blue cheese, pepper jack, jalapeños, to habaneros. You’ll even find garlic cloves and spicy garlic, dirty martini mix, and Kalamata olives for a good Greek salad. I’m especially proud of our balsamic-based hot sauces and barbecue sauces — we’ve created varieties with ghost pepper and scorpion pepper that’ll set you on fire, but thanks to the balsamic, the flavor actually shines through.
Shirley loves showing off our Prepper Nutrients and supplements. She’s really passionate about making sure everything we carry is natural and beneficial. We’ve got things like beetroot for high blood pressure and kiwi for all-around health. And because we’re all about personal connections, the owner of our supplement company even stops by to work with our customers sometimes.
Our skincare products are another huge part of what makes Olive Oil Divine unique. We carry natural soaps, sugar scrubs, shampoo bars, conditioner bars — all made with essential oils, olive oil and no chemicals. One of our favorites is the Bug Plague Away lotion Shirley uses while gardening. It keeps mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks away, and smells great too. We’ve also added clay-based face masks in varieties like Calming, Soothe, and Glow — and yes, we personally test everything ourselves before it hits the shelves.
And it doesn’t stop there. We hand-package custom gift sets for birthdays, Mother’s Day, holidays, and corporate gifts. Plus, our all-natural pet shampoos come in scents like cedarwood and sage, chamomile and aloe, and lavender — which also helps repel fleas.
Our spice collection is packed with hand-blended seasonings like truffle parmesan (incredible on asparagus, popcorn, or pasta) and our top seller for over ten years, Tuscany Bread Dipping Seasoning.
One of the things people love about our store is our “try before you buy” philosophy. We encourage you to taste any oil or vinegar and most other food items before you commit. Our team will walk you through it and help you find your new favorite flavors.
And finally — one of our personal favorites — our olive wood products. We source these from Tunisia, where artisans transform olive trees that no longer produce fruit into beautiful charcuterie or cheese boards, olive dishes, and salad bowls. Every piece is unique, showcasing stunning grain patterns. Sometimes you’ll even spot a natural cross or animal shape in the wood.
At Olive Oil Divine, it’s always been about sharing the best of what we love — and we hope you’ll come experience it for yourself.

I’m behind the camera. Oh, okay. All right. Oh, that’s right. Today, I’m sorry. She’s my camera woman today. All right. All right. Well, she’s doing a great job so far. So, uh um I see we’re we’re in the uh we’re in the store and I know in our last episode we talked a lot about the all the different things that you guys uh uh supply sell that are not just olive oil. I mean, you got you’re not just an olive oil store. So, uh today I’m thrilled uh that we’re going to get to take a walking tour. So, let’s get going. Yeah. Come on. I’m going to show you. Now, we talked about uh all the things we had and and I’m standing in front of one of our newest selections of pastas. As you can see, we’ve got pastas galore. Uh every shape and size. You’ve probably heard of nest pasta. We’ve got nest pastas now from Italy. And and they’re even organic on on many of those. uh string pastas, uh shaped pastas, we got organic uh lamache meati, we got uh tomato basil ratio, you know, you just name it. There’s 30ome different pastas here. And then of course, you got to have the pasta sauce sets to go with them. Seven different pasta sauces that are all Craft Batch made. And oh gosh, are they ever good. This one right here is one of my favorites. The Tuscan sundried tomato. It’s kind of like a creamy Alfredo. Oh, delicious. And uh believe it or not, we’ve got salsa, too, for for the Mexican friends uh that like to to dip some chips, which is me. And pizza sauce. So, come get your pasta. And of course, skip on down here. Follow me on on into the store. And come on, camera person. Come on, camera woman. You’re doing great, Shirley. This is another new line that we have is called our drink mixers. We’ve got uh things from Citrus Agave, which is SL Margarita. Now, those are all non-alcoholic, but they’re all again craft handmade. They’re small batch, so they’re they’re real juices. There’s no preservatives, none of that that junky stuff that you want in there. Strawberry, lemon, sweet peach, and then look at here. Look at all these olives. olive stuffed galore with everything from lemon peels to cream cheese to feta cheese, blue cheese, pepper jack, jalapeno, habaneros for those who really like it hot, me. Garlic, spicy garlic cloves. I mean, gosh, you want to make a perfect martini? We’ve got the dirty martini mix up here and the pimento. They’re somewhere here. There’s so many. They’re hard to find. Pimento for your uh martinis. just and Greek salads. Oh my goodness, these calamadas are amazing in a Greek salad. And then on down here, I would imagine the olives are pretty good in a Greek salad as well. Oh, any of these would be great in a Greek salad, especially the feta cheese ones. Well, when you said blue cheese, you you caught my my attention. And and feta. I love feta. You know, the blue cheese uh sweet sweet we call sweetites, the blue cheese and habanero. Then there’s a little sweetness in them. Oh, they’re they’re addictive. Oh, wow. Wow. Very nice. And then on down here, we’ve got our balsamic based hot sauces and barbecue sauces. Uh these these babies here are mixed with ghost pepper and scorpion pepper. So, they are hot. But you know what? Since they’re balsamic based, the flavor just carries through so deliciously. I mean, these are going to set you on fire for sure for those who are not accustomed to it. But you’re going to taste the flavor. And we get comments all the time about how flavorful ours are. They’re not just scorching hot, but the balsamic uh barbecue sauces, again, very flavorful. They are a little bit thinner than they’re not pasty and full of sugar. Uh they’re going to be a little bit more natural, a little bit healthier for you, but the flavor just carries through. And we’ve got a wide selection of those. And one of Shirley’s favorites is the teriyak that she mentioned in the last one. This teriyak is amazing. It’s again, it’s gluten-free, um, balsamic based, so the flavor is just outstanding. And then for those who, uh, like to bake, we have, uh, creme and white truffle creme. These are reduced balsamic for glazes. Of course, you could take our cast 25 and do the same thing, which is right here behind me. See all these beautiful fooies that that we have? These this is where we uh we fill we fill from all these fies. Uh these are the balsamics. We also let you taste from these busties. Uh you come in and uh our team will walk you around and let you taste any and all of them right here from the same spout that we bottle from. Of course, we we use little, you know, we’re sanitary about it. And then on down here, we’ve got our six-packs, which are a really popular gift. These are three oils and three vinegars. This is just a sample of what they look like inside, but these are great for Christmas time and Christmas gifts. And uh there’s all kinds of themed six-packs that are grilled towards grilling boss is you know obviously themed towards uh the grill master which is coming up. Uh gourmet deluxe which is going to be some of our higherend balsamics and oils and of course pasta and salad based uh six packs. So that’s some of the items. I think I’ll turn it over and let Shirley tell you about some of the rest of them. All right. Well now we have Shirley in front of the camera that’s going to continue our tour. Shirley, what tell us what what’s uh behind you. Hey, Skip. Uh these are all of our proper nutrients. This is um great for smoothies. If you’re having some health issues and you want to go a little further and adding some good healthy products in your diet, these are great, too. I like the beetroot. It’s good for people with high blood pressure. Um you also have the kiwi. It’s great for several reasons, too. Blood pressure is another reason. And on each one of our uh prepper nutrients, it’ll kind of guide you of any health issues that you’re having that these would be a great way to help you assist in those too to reduce some of those uh issues that you’re having. These are great. We’ve had them now for a couple years and our customers are loving them. And Vince will come in, the actual owner of this company, he’ll pop in and see us and he’ll be in the store and work the store with us one weekend. Oh wow. Well, that was often nice of them. Yeah. Another product that we talked about earlier is my skin care. Uh these are soaps. These are the sugar scrubs that I mentioned earlier. And also the shampoo bars and conditioner bars. All of these are natural. There’s no chemicals at all. They have essential oils in them. And here’s one of my favorite ones. It’s called Bug Plague Away. When I’m out in the yard doing flowers, I always put this on because it’s a good uh mosquito repellent. Uh, it’s good for fleas and ticks. Wow. And another new product I just brought in is our face mask. They’re all uh claybased. I have a calming to help you calm that uh face down a little bit or your skin a little bit to take some of that redness out. I have a soothe for everybody or anyone that is hypoallergenic that has very sensitive skin. We have a glow and that just makes your uh face get a little bit more radiant. Uh I’ve used this one. It’s really good. Like I said, I’ve used them and I used I actually try them before I bring any products in. So all of these are tested by me and my staff. So it’s a great way to get some natural stuff in your on your body as well. And and those are all olive oil based. The only thing that are not are the clay math. The clay mat does not have olive oil on them. You can when you mix your clay mask up, I use a rose water. I also use uh for the younger ones, they can use a witch hazel. And you get about 20 applications out of this packets. Wow. Now, another thing we did talk about is our gift sets that we do a lot of. We’ll do corporate gifts. We’ll just have gifts here in case someone has a birthday. Mother’s Day is coming right around the corner. We do Mother’s Day’s gifts as well. Wow. And you guys package those. I think we talked about in another episode. You uh you guys package those yourself, right? Uh yes, we do. We actually said and we make these little gift sets up for you. We can be Santa, we can be olive. We can do whatever you need us to do. Is there a price range for those gifts? It really depends on your products and what you pick. Very good. We also have gift uh certain uh gift bags as well too. These are handmade. I have towels with olives on them. Those are great. This is a new addition I brought in last year. Well, gift bags. Who would have thought? Now, I mentioned pet shampoo. All of this comes from my same maker of my uh shampoos and um conditioners and the body scrubs as well. These are all pet shampoos. I have a pet shampoo with cedar, wood, and sage. I have a pet shampoo for chamomile and aloe. And these are all made 100% natural as well. Wow. Well, now you mentioned earlier a mosquito repellent. Uh is is does that apply to to animals as well or is that strictly for humans? It’s for humans. Okay. Very good. Well, I would imagine you’ve got some shampoos that that help with that as well for dogs. Yeah. See, um the cedar wood sage would be good for that, too. Even the lavender because lavender is known to repel fleas. So, that’s another good one. Oh, wow. And here’s more gift sets that we have out. Also, we want to talk about spices. All of our spices are hand blended. Uh they’re all natural. The par truffle parmesan is one of our favorites. It is great on asparagus. It’s good on popcorn. Um, it’s good over pasta. Wow. So, that’s your favorite, you said. Or what are your other favorites? It’s one of our favorites. Yeah. And then the Tuscany bread dipping. This has been the number one seller ever since we’ve opened. So, for 10 years. It’s Everybody loves this. It’s great on pasta. I use it as a dipping. And I also put this on saltine crackers as well. Oh. Now, is that a uh is that like a you mix it with a with water or is you just you can use you just mix it with your oil with oil? Well, of course. What am I thinking? Water. Now, the Italian herb goes really well with that Tuskini bread dipping. You put those two combos together and it’ll go on anything. Wow. Now, you’re standing in front of the That’s like a tasting area. That’s where you fill bottles. Anytime you come into the store, we always give you a little tour and we ask you if there’s something that you want to taste to let us know. And we just come over here with a little tasting cup and we’ll give you a little bit of it and you taste it. Oh wow. I would get every one of those. Any oils and vinegars, yes, you can taste here in the store. We want you to taste it before you buy the product to make sure that you’re happy with that product. Wow. Well, I was going to ask how does that work? But apparently you get to try anything when you’re there. Yes, you do. And something else too, Skip, we do uh we have a lot of olivewood products, too. We have cheese boards, we have olive dishes, I have salad bowls. All of this is our olivewood. And there’s a lot more in the store. I probably have about 30 or 40 different olivewood products. And these are uh come from Tunisia. They are also made with the olive trees that no longer produce. So they’re recycling the olive trees. Wow. Now olive trees. Now this is a whole another subject, but uh the olive oil olive trees uh grow to be extremely old, right? They do. So, any idea how old the wood is on those uh plates or Well, I do I do know there is still an olive tree in Jerusalem that is still producing olives from the time Christ was on this earth. I’ve I have read that as well. Wow. So, that now that’s amazing. What is there a price range for those for the the boards? Yes, there is. Um some of them it depends on what size you get. Like this is a se um this is a 17 by 18. This is $69. This is a 20 by 22 and this one is $99. Wow. Very nice. And I I imagine Greg’s got a lathe and he carves this thing out. These are the one of the these actually come from our growers as well. Like I said, they come from Tunisia. And I will say not one of them are the same size, same shape. They’re always different. Wow. As because the trees are different sizes and shapes. That’s correct. Wow. And I was just joking about Greg using a lathe. Sorry. I’m a good cameraman though. And sometimes Skip will get I’ll show you these as well. These are the bread baskets that we get. And sometimes we will get in the wood the actual shape of a cross. And every time we get a new shipment in, we all stand we all stand back there looking for the crosses. We never know when they’re going to we never know when it’s going to come in on on each shipment. Wow. So, is the cross is that just part of the natural wood or is it It’s That is part Yes, it is part of the natural wood. Wow. Wow. That’s That’s fascinating. And we look for faces, too. Uh we’ll we’ll stand and we’ll look at these and see if we can find us a face of an animal or sometimes we find them, sometimes we don’t. Like this looks like an eye in the wood. If you can see that. Mhm. Wow. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. But that’s just some of the special touches that we do here at all divine. And we enjoy doing it. We have fun. I would imagine. I tell you, you’re definitely uh more than just an olive oil store. No question. Yes, we are. Well, guys, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the tour and uh what a great job both of you did as a cameraman. So, I appreciate that too. And we’ll catch you in the next episode. Have a good day, Skip. See you, Skip. See you, Greg. Shirley, have a great day. You, too. [Music] Welcome to the Olive Oil Divine podcast, your go-to source for culinary inspiration.
