  1. Chuck steak cubed up and tossed in a spicy Peruvian-style marinade, let sit for about 5 hours. Get a flat top grill sizzling hot and blast the steak on there for a few minutes. Make guac with avocado, white onion, cilantro and spices as necessary. Air fry some fries until crispy. Mix sour cream with a small amount of water to make it more spreadable.

Get a big ass tortilla. Spread sour cream on it. Pile some fries on it. Then the steak. Then some Mexican cheese. Then spoon on your guac. Then some shredded lettuce, any leftover cilantro and diced onion. Lastly some fried jalapeños. Roll it and bake it for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Cube steak is very different since asada is usually flap meat. Also, if you’re a fan of limes, try lime juice and sour cream to thin it out with a bit of salt and pepper. Also works amazingly with fish tacos. It’s a great looking burrito!

Can’t u just use a butter knife with the sour cream?

I don’t think I could do lettuce in a California burrito. I’m not opposed to adding some vegetables but lettuce is prone to getting soggy. It’s not like a chipotle burrito, where there’s plenty of cool things to prevent steaming. I feel like half way in I’d definitely be eating some soggy lettuce, unless you’re letting everything cool before putting it in.

The tortilla is the starch. Potatoes are added as a cheap gimmick filler. Same thing with rice in burritos.
