Good morning everybody and welcome to Flavor House Network’s Weekend Eats. I’m Casey. I’m your host and for my family that’s been waiting so patiently and thank you so much again. We’re still having these technical difficulties trying to figure my computer is the computer that really works well and I’ve tried five different We got computers all over this house. in the midst of trying a new one, it went kaput and blocked me off. So, I had to go get the other one, which I really don’t like the colors of it. But hey, you can see me. So, that’s the most important thing. And we’re still working on it. Please forgive the technical difficulties. Anywh who, how’s everybody? How was your week? I hope that it was wonderful. I know it was really hot here and then they’re talking about raining now. And hey, what can we do? However, we keep on keeping on. Like I was telling my family, it’s like, you know, I I I just feel like it’s always something trying to dim my light or take my greatness. And I refuse to surrender to the dying of the light. I just won’t. So, whatever it is that’s trying to do this needs to step off somewhere and go get a cookie. How about that? Anyway, today we are going to be making a blueberry apple pancake casserole. I know I’m doing this casserole thing. I’m trying to find things that are budget conscious, but that are delicious, that look good, that make you want to just say because I’mma tell you, I keep seeing prices going up up up and that’s about all is going up cuz my money ain’t going up up. My money is like, yeah, one of those things. So, I don’t know about you, but I have to be very, very intentional when I’m cooking and when I’m buying food and when I’m doing all these things. And I’m learning to be even more so, you know, because hey, I realize now that things are where they are, they probably will stay that way. Just like during co when things went up, they never came back down. Things are going up here, it ain’t never gonna come back down. We’re just gonna have to learn how to adapt. So, we’re doing this blueberry apple pancake casserole and it is delicious. It is delicious, delicious, delicious. So, I of course, you know, I find everything coffee, everything I can think of. So, I said, “Self, hm, I wonder if it’s such thing as a coffee cycling.” No, not coffee cup on a bicycle rowing or or or push or whatever. No, coffee cycling is a thing. It’s a big thing and I can’t wait to tell you about it. I know. Just let it marinate in your head and kind of think what that is. Okay. And then the versatility of ground meats. Well, here lately I have tried one, two, six, six different types of ground meats. I’m not talking about hamburger meat. Actually, I’ve tried probably seven or eight different types. Okay. Yeah, they got they grind up everything. And the reason why I’ve tried all these ground meats are because again the prices of everything is so high. And of course you know my family chicken and then I’m here chicken again. Listen, you’re eating, aren’t you? But anyh who, so trying to give some versatility, some variety, come up with some new recipes, some new taste things to tantalize my family. So, the versatility of ground meats is what we’re going to be also exploring. And of course, you know, home cooking story time. Hey, I don’t even have to tell stories anymore because I’m telling you, after what was it last week with the Was that the chicken and biscuits last week? After the chicken and biscuits uh uh broadcast last week, the way that they clown at that was the story. That was the story. Yes, it was. So, the first thing I want to do is go over these ingredients. And it’s not hard. Now, there’s two ways to do this. I decided to do it from scratch, which is not difficult, okay? But you can have a hack and you can use box pancake mix for this. I’ve also seen, as I was looking on the internet, people taking just regular frozen pancakes, putting them in in a a pan or whatever, and doing layers of fruit and stuff. That could be a thing. But mine is going to be, like I said, a pancake in a pan. It really is. Trust me, it’s going to be a good thing. Anywh who, so that’s where we will begin. So, we are going to But first, you know what I got to do, child, cuz hey, it’s been one heck of a morning. Hey, everybody, take a sip. Take take a little sip sip for me. Okay. Oh, wow. Now, this is a good cup of coffee. Do you know that I have not had coffee for two days? Go figure. For two days. It wasn’t intentional. I just was so busy. I didn’t have time to drink any coffee. So, this really, really is a good cup of coffee. Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really no. This is a superb cup of coffee. Yes, it is. So, let me take another set. And the beautiful assistant will bring my table around, then we can go over the ingredients, which I already have pre-measured. Actually, I’m just going to tell you cuz I really don’t want her to lift everything. Can you lift most of this stuff or no? I mean, yeah, I’ll show the boxes of them. Okay, so for the pancake casserole, let her bring that over. Okay. Okay, so we have some allpurpose flour. Now, I was graffling with whether or not to use self-rising. Self-rising flour has baking powder and salt in it already. Okay, so for every cup, there’s probably about a half a teaspoon of the baking powder, a little bit of salt. If you only have self-rising flour, which is what I usually use when I make my pancakes from scratch. I ain’t trying to do all that. When I buy baking powder and stuff like that, that’s really for people who bake a lot from scratch. I don’t do that. That’s my sister as she probably got a baker’s rack or something cuz she’s the baker in the family. However, with allpurpose, you if you have the self-rising, whatever your recipe calls for. So, if you have a cup of flour, you’re usually looking at for the self-rising flour, it is probably a teaspoon full of um baking soda. Okay? Baking powder, I’m sorry, excuse me. So, if your recipe calls for more than that, then you just add the difference if you want to do the math. Otherwise, get some self-rising flour. Oh, all Yeah, this girl, she got me. Yeah, this is why you have children. Get me get some allpurpose flour and then just put the stuff in there. Okay, so we have allpurpose flour. She’s giving me my fruit. I have a lovely and it probably will only take one of these, but I have two. Now, these are called honey crisp apples. The reason why I use the honey crisp apple is because it it doesn’t mush up like applesauce. When you cook it, it kind of maintains some of the integrity. It gets soft, but it’s not mushy like applesauce. And so, I like to bake with this. I like to put this in my bread pudding. I like to use it if I make apple pies or if I just make some spiced apples to go along with a little bit of um um pork tenderloin tenderloin or whatever. So, I like to use these. But this was pricey, too. This was like a dollar I think a $169 for one apple. Okay. Something like that. So, and then I have some fresh blueberries here. And this is was supposed to be I guess this is 16 oz. I wanted 18 oz. Okay. I got two of them. So, I got 30. What’s this? 36 3 16 32 32 oz. But it’s about 18 ounces. You want You want about two cups of this of your fresh um blueberries. And what I will tell you this, when you do your blueberries, I want you to check now. See, let me show you this. If you can see, do you see like the little You see that little stem on there? Check for stems. Don’t just open this up and clean these off. Sometimes there are little stems on the blueberry. So, you want to unless you want to eat a stem. I’m just saying. So, you want to kind of sift through these things and make sure. So, that has to be done. Okay, I have Do I have enough lemon extract or do I have more? Pour it in. Oh, okay. So, I have a little lemon extract. And this is my secret sauce. A lot of people will use vanilla. The lemon heightens it. It just does it. I’m telling you, try this. You can use vanilla if you want, but I would try that. And then we have our baking powder. And like I said, any kind of double act acting baking powder will do. You do not have to get the name brand or whatever. Okay. I am using Splenda as my sweetener. So, normally what they’re looking for if you want to use regular sugar is 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Okay. I’m using the equivalent in Splenda the powder. The same. Yeah, the powder. So, I usually use the Splenda Zero and I may still use that because this stuff really you have to use way too much of it. you know, the powder kind, the the liquid, and it has no carbs, period. So, I go there. I try to do some things right. I really do. Contrary to popular belief. And then I don’t know how my baking soda got like that. How’d that happen? Well, this I broke this. Oh, Lord. Okay, let me show you what what Jason does to to things. This is what this was a nice brand new box of baking soda she did to it. Okay. Anyway, so baking soda. Baking soda helps with the rising agent of your baking. So that we have also. Okay. And we have two cups of regular milk. Well, we use lactate milk cuz you know people around here have the bubble gut. So we have to make sure. Yeah. Okay. And and then I have eggs. We have some salt. You put in just a pinch of salt. The salt helps um give a equilibrium to the sugar. Just a little, not a lot. Okay. And this is what is already in self-rising flour. Okay. What else? One egg. And then I have one egg that goes into this. So pretty much that’s Oh, I forgot. No, my I’m doing butter. I have a little bit of butter. It’s not going to be a lot of butter in here, believe it or not. Most of the butter will go into the mix and into the pan for for for greasing so it doesn’t stick. Of course, I will use cooking spray. Oh, yes, I will. However, there’s another thing that I use here, which you forgot my cinnamon. Okay, I add a little bit of ground cinnamon in here because we’re doing that apple blueberry thing. Now, you can have just a apple or you could have just a blueberry or you could use whatever kind of fruit you want to use in this, okay? I’m just partial to these things, you know? So, that’s what I was feeling. That’s what I’m doing. But you can use whatever fruit or you can make it without any fruit at all. So, that’s the thing, too. So, we have some nice ground cinnamon. All right. So, let’s get that all over here. All right. And I think what I’m going to do is I’m going to do another egg, but I’m going to do just the egg white cuz I want this to be really fluffy and light. Okay. So, it’ll be one whole egg and one egg white. So, now once I do this, I’m going to need my my silver mixing bowl. I will need that. I am going to drink this coffee and then I’m going to tell y’all something a little bit about uh the coffee cycling which I found to be very interesting. Okay, so boy this coffee is it’s so good. Anyh who, let me see. Okay, so Volvo the lovewah. That’s all I could say to all of you. To all of y’all that have been my ride or dies. Hey, this is what I I do this every single week for y’all. When I even think about I’m not going to do this, I say to myself, well, maybe they really do want to see me. So, I drag it on in here. Yeah, I’d be really dragging on in here for real. I tell you, I almost forgot to comb my hair this morning. And I almost got in this thing and the technical difficulty happened and I’m like, “Woo, I forgot to take the curl out.” That would have been a tech that would have been a real lie, wouldn’t it? Anyh who, let me change my eyes. Y’all put on the ones that I can see clearly now. Anyhoo, all right. So, coffee cycling, y’all. What is coffee cycling? Coffee cycling is the practice of taking strategic breaks from coffee to reset your body’s caffeine tolerance. Now, why would you do that? Because some people drink so much coffee. And even though I talk about coffee a lot, I really don’t drink it a lot. The only time I drink a lot of coffee is if I’m doing like them all nighter things and then I will drink more coffee or whatever. And like I said, the most I drink is maybe two cups or something like that. I really don’t drink drink like people just drink a lot of coffee. I don’t do that. I do like to have coffee in the morning because I don’t feel like eating you until when I’m I’m ready to eat and it does suppress your appetite. Okay. But people do that because they are trying to I guess kind of break their dependence or quote unquote addiction to the caffeine. All right. So similar to how athletes cycle supplements to avoid dependence and maximize the result of the supplements. So, it’s also known as a caffeine reset or coffee detox. I didn’t know this when I thought about I just said to myself, “Huh, I wonder if there’s such thing as coffee cycling.” Well, child, there’s so many things about coffee. I could just go on. I wonder if they have coffee bean clothing or so. I don’t know. I’mma look it up. But anyway, so why do people try it? Like I said, it reduce caffeine dependence and withdrawal symptoms. I’ve never experienced that. Okay. I don’t get a headache if I don’t get coffee. I really don’t. Okay. To bring back the buzz, you know, when you get that first cup of coffee and the buzz actually hits. I don’t feel that either, but I guess people do. Okay. To improve sleep quality. Coffee does not keep me awake. It does not. It’s almost like a soothing thing. It’s like coffee to me when I’m tired is almost like a soothing heat massage throughout my body. I don’t know that doesn’t make sense, but it does to me. Okay. So that’s what So trust me, if I’m sleepy, I don’t care if I drink that coffee. I get over there in that bed and it lights out. That’s it. Okay. Um, reduce anxiety, they say, and stabilize your mood. Okay. So that’s why they don’t do that. Well, that may be why a lot of times they will ask, doctors will ask if you drink caffeine because I guess it can cause anxiety for some people in unstable moods, you know, just doing it all the time. and a lot of it. So to test how your body functions naturally without coffee. So they just want to see what happens if they don’t drink it. Probably don’t want to go to work with those people. Get the attention that. Okay. So signs you might need a coffee reset. You need more and more caffeine to feel awake. So if you don’t get your coffee, you feel like, oh, I need to go back to bed. Oh, this is not going to be a good day. You kind of nodding off. You got that narcolepsy thing look like going on. Yeah, you need some more coffee. Okay, so that may be a sign you need to reset. Uh you crash hard in the afternoon. So you’re all up and bubbly and everything and then all of a sudden, okay, I’m now that’ll tell you this. But see, I can’t really tell whether or not these things affect me because I don’t get a lot of sleep. I get I’m going to say I don’t get continuous sleep. I nap an hour here, an hour there, whatever. I’ll nod off or whatever in the chair. But throughout the week, I really really do not lay down and get eight hours sleep ever. So accumulation of sleep may be maybe six hours in a week total. And it’s not that restful because there’s some pain that’s aching or something that’s keeping me from going to rim sleep. So, make a long story short, around 3:00 every day, unless I’m really, really, really busy. But if I’m trying to focus on something like, you know, doing a report or something like that, I ain’t going to lie, around 3:00, I need somebody to pinch me because I am telling you, I get so very tired. And if I could go to sleep at that point, get in my bed, I probably would sleep until probably the night, the late late of night. But between 3:00 and 3:30, if I can get through it, then I’m right back. Just like, you know, that just happens. So, I don’t know if it has anything to do with the coffee cuz the coffee was finished long time ago and I didn’t have anymore. Okay? But if you’re jittery, anxious, and you can’t sleep, I don’t have those issues. I just don’t sleep because I’m too busy. Okay? Coffee isn’t doing anything for you anymore. So, coffee is just a drink. It ain’t keeping you keeping you up. It’s not keeping you alert. It’s just like, hey, it’s just, you know, like the chair over there. It’s just you just used to doing it and you just drink it. Okay. So, those are the signs that you may need to cycle. So, how to coffee cycle? So, you can go cold turkey, tough it out, be quick, expect withdrawal symptoms like headache and fatigue. Listen, I don’t know about you guys, and y’all tell me, anybody, any coffee drinkers out there, if you drink a lot of coffee, if you don’t drink coffee, do you feel sick? Really? Yeah. See, I don’t get that. I don’t I don’t get that. May I have a tissue, please? Because I’m starting to run. My nose is running for some reason. Wondering why I make my comies the night before? It’s so I can have it by my bed tonight in the morning. Oh, so she’s one of them. But see, you Okay, I want you to show them. And I’m sorry. I need to I feel my nose running. Okay, grab my cup. Um, I want you to see her cup. Her cup is gigantic. I have made up a word. Gigantic. Okay, it is gigantic. Okay, I usually don’t even drink a cup this big. I have a little insulated mug that I use. And, you know, the inside of that is kind of, you know, narrow on the bottom, so you don’t get that much. And I just kind of sit sit whatever. I don’t really use a mug. I use this mug because my sister gave me this and I want the world to see how beautiful she gave me this beautiful cup and she made it with my with my weekend eats on here and I’m going to use this as my merch when I start selling my merch cuz I think it’s the most beautiful thing ever. So that is why I use this. My daughter, my other daughter gave me a cute little pig cup which I love. But see I I have to advertise so I don’t have it on here. So if she’s watching it’s not because I don’t love the cup. I do love the cup. Okay. But I wear the pig socks. She get I wear these pig socks every Why am I telling y’all my business? Okay. Okay. But I have these pig socks. And what what do these socks say? What do they say on here? They don’t say anything. They just have cute little The pigs The pig socks match my pig cup. So I wear the pig socks because first of all, my legs get chilly first. Second of all, they help almost like how um people have support holes. They they make me make my legs feel better because, you know, I got bad knees and stuff. So, they really are helpful. So, I wear that. I guess they’re my lucky socks because I wear them every single Saturday. That’s the only time I put those socks on, but I wear them. So, I always have a piece of the children with me. Okay. So, and the people that support me with me. So, that’s okay. Oh, I forgot. So, this is her cup, okay? And it’s usually to the top. And she makes this the night before. She had this coffee sitting out and then she drinks this iced coffee. She’s telling me that she goes through the jitters and wiggles and Well, I love the jitters. So, I get a headache and I feel kind of kind of lethargic, just kind of like cloudy. And then I drink my coffee and it’s almost like filling a tank. It’s like, okay, because she’s hooked. See, I’m not hooked. I’m the one that talks about it, but she she’s the hooked. Okay, so we got to put her in coffee rehab. Let’s give her to the cycling. Okay. So, taper off gradually. So, she needs to start with a half of that so she can gradually taper off. Okay. To reduce her intake over one to two weeks. Okay. Or swap it for herbal tea. Mushroom c mushroom. I don’t know about no mushroom coffee or decaf. I’mma tell you decaf is gross to me. And they say it doesn’t make a difference. Decaf is I don’t like bitter coffee. And so I guess that’s why I drink folders because folders really isn’t bitter but their decaf is bitter in comparison to the caffeinated one. Um so I don’t care for decaf and it you know it’s not because it’s decaffeinated because like I said it really just tastes different. I’d have to put a lot of sugar in it. I don’t use any sugar with with the caffeinated. Okay. You are going to notice if you do this stuff that you may feel groggy, irritable for a few days when you’re detoxing. Okay. After one to two weeks, your natural energy levels start balancing out. So, you start feeling more energetic. Boy, h you must have to drink a lot of co man. Uh-uh. Okay. You’ll notice your sleep might improve and anxiety may lessen. Okay. So, how long should you cycle? Most people do a break for 7 to 14 days. Some extend to a full month before re reintroducing themselves to coffee. The goal is to reset your body and not to quit necessarily forever. Okay? So, reintroduce reintroducing coffee the smart way. Start small. So, get your nit cup, make a half a cup or do some light roast. Avoid diving right back into the three plus cups. See, that’s why I said these people drink a lot of coffee. And with her with that big cup, it’s probably like three cups of regular coffee. Okay? Cuz even this mug right here is big. If you get like a set of coffee cups with like a um dishwear, the cups are really small. They’re not big like that. The mug. Okay. So, that is probably a serving size of coffee. What you get those little cups or if you go to like a restaurant like Denny’s or something like that to get them little cups. Yeah. That that’s that’s what you’re supposed to drink. A serving of most drinks is eight ounces. Uh not for coffee. I don’t think you’re supposed to be doing eight ounces of coffee, but anyway. So, I don’t think so. Okay. So they say consider coffee as a mindful ritual and not a crutch. Okay? It’s coffee cycling for everybody. Not always necessary for the casual or low volume drinkers like myself. I don’t need the coffee cycle. That one over there. Mhm. And my husband probably needs the coffee cycle, too, cuz he can’t get life unless he gets coffee. And I notice that. He really does, man. See, I have days where I won’t drink my coffee. And I’ll And I notice that I can tell the difference. I can tell the difference. I’m like, boy, I just feel like Yeah, but see, I don’t have that. I really don’t have that. Um, and they say it’s great for those with high caffeine tolerance, insomnia, or adrenal fatigue. They say, “Consult a healthc care provider. If you have heart issues, or anxiety disorders.” So, if you suffer from anxiety, uh, coffee may not be uh your thing. You may not need to. I don’t know if it’s the caffeine or or if you do decaffeinate it, it may be better for you. But you’d be surprised. A lot of the things that you put in your mouth can sabotage your moods. Believe it or not, we don’t want to believe that stuff because we like what we like. But in reality, a lot of the things we can circumvent, make better, or cause it not to happen at all if we think about what we put inside our bodies. And that’s the truth. You know, we can you we can admit it or not. Myself, y’all, whoever, some of the aches and pains and things, you got to think about it. A lot of the a lot of the medicines or the cures for things before they had all of thesearmacies and stuff derived from natural things like penicellin that was mold. Okay? So, some of these things that they did back in the day, you know, the little herbs and stuff like that, and you thought, “Oh, this this the voodoo priestess or whatever.” There was method behind the madness. I will give you a perfect example. Wait, before you do, are you planning to cut these into like slithers? How we going to I want to dice them. I want to dice them. So, I don’t want to dice them too small, but I want to dice them. And then I want to do some that are going to be in in like it was on my thumbnail so I can cook them off the stove. Anyway, okay. So, how much of this apple are you putting in? Cook the cut the whole apple and dice it. Dice the whole apple. Okay. So, she’s over there. Jason in the apple y’all. But anyway, look at that face. I tell you, it is so easy. We call them rank fest. We It’s so easy to rank on my family. I swear they I’m too fast for them. You know, it’s like I’m not even participating over here minding my business. Listen, I get so get so much joy. I tell you, they like sitting at me. My oldest son says, “You’re really sassy, mommy.” I’m like, “Yeah, I’m sassy.” Okay, I’m I’m sassy. Okay, I’m sassy mommy. Anyway, so I forgot what I was talking about now. Um, okay. Yeah, the things in your body appointing Oh, no. The the the the remedies, okay, that I thought my mama was crazy. Now, my mother was very very progressive. She comes from the south, but she was very progressive to be from the south and to be of that baby boomer age, you know, cuz I was born in 1962. But I will tell you this, there was a lot of that south still in her even though she did all the modern things or whatever. Like for instance, my little sister, I think she got a sprain or something like that. No, she got something. It was either a sprain or a cut. It was something that she should have took her to the to the hospital for and got some stitches. That girl got the the the the um the the scar on her knee to this day. However, we lived near a field and it had red clay, mud, you know, dirt, and it was red. She went out there and got that stuff and mix some kind of pus and put it on her knee and put a band-aid on it. It healed it up. Yes, it did. It didn’t heal it pretty, but it healed it up. Now, mind you, we could have went to the to the hospital. It was not that far away, but it’s just that mindset of doing things yourself. Okay, I have another example. I know for a fact that I probably got a concussion when I was probably about 8 years old. Okay, because I was running around. We lived in a high-rise apartment building in in Brooklyn, New York, 24 stories. And so they had a ramp where the cars are parked and underneath the ramp they had a little a chain link fence that fenced off the area where they would put like the debris like boxes and stuff like that for the garbage people to come because in New York you have public sanitation. You don’t pay for that. They come the city pays well your taxes pay for it. So anyway, so me and my crazy self running behind some little kids that had come to visit some friends of my mother and my mother lives on the 17th floor. We downstairs running around, running around, running through this thing cuz it was open. And I’m running behind one of these kids and they slammed the the chain link fence. I’m going so fast until I ran into the fence. Well, the next thing I knew, I was laying on the concrete ground inside the area where the debris was going like this. I had got knocked out. I really did. And some ladies came by and they put a bag underneath my head because I’m bleeding from the mouth because almost bit my tongue off doing it. I don’t even remember how I got upstairs. But they must have contacted the security people cuz we had security um guards and stuff with dogs and stuff in the bottom, you know, it was a community that kind of building. And they contacted my family and they took me upstairs or whatever. I don’t remember that part. And I just remember this is why I don’t eat watermelon to this day because that’s the only thing that I was able to eat was some watermelon and the pot liquor from collard greens. That’s what she fed me. Did I go to the doctor? Now mind you, my father worked three jobs in the hospital. He worked from 1:00 in the morning to 8 at night for about 50 years. Okay? We had nurses that came to our houses to give us penicellin shots when we got sick. So, we had visiting doctors and nurses, but in her mind, I guess she thought, hey, let me heal my child with this cut off tongue and whatever. I know I’ve had a concussion because I was out. Nothing ever thought the thought pattern was never, okay, this child could be brain damaged or whatever. Anyway, she healed me up, healed my tongue, I can talk, the tongue is still here, all of that. Okay. With the pot liquor and watermelon diet. Okay, go figure. I know now that I probably did have a concussion because in 2019 I ended up having to have and I’m just giving you all the TMI, but might as well. Who cares? I had brain surgery and spinal surgery in 2019. I had something called a CFS CSF leak. So, if you ever have these symptoms, don’t ignore them because the doctors will probably not really know what it is. So you want to give them a heads up to check for it. I had these symptoms for six months. I have bad sinuses and allergies. So you know when you get the runny nose and and the postal drip and stuff. Of course you think that’s natural cuz you have it all the time. But this was more this was a situation where if I leaned forward and put my nose over a cup, it would fill it up within seconds like it was a faucet. If I laid back, I would aspirate. You would just feel feel the liquid just going down. The liquid was totally clear. It was not mucus. It was not infection. It was D. It was spinal cord fluid. So you say, well, how spinal cord fluid where is it coming from? It’s supposed to be on on on in your back and going to your brain to lubricate and stuff. Well, Casey had a hole in the base of her brain. Where’s the left? Well, I guess the left would be over here. Well, y’all can’t the left. underneath the the base of my brain right near the sinus area on the left side and what was coming out and I was getting bronchitis and all of these things because of course with the post name with that liquid going down into my lungs it was causing me to aspirate and all that whatever but it took six months I went to every ENT ear nose and throat doctor everything else and they kept telling me oh you have an infection you have a sinus dish you have bronchitis I took so many antibiotics it was off the Rick scale. What I found out is a CSF leak is something that they don’t readily diagnose. Okay? Sometimes it may take a year or more or years for them to diagnose it. Six months went by, I was miserable. I could not take it anymore. I just I couldn’t sit stand up straight. I couldn’t lean. I couldn’t do anything. And something said to me to go on Google. Well, of course, you know, everyone tells you, “Oh, don’t go on on the internet. The doctor say, “Let me tell you something. Sometimes you got to realize your own body.” Okay? And as well meaning as doctors may be, they don’t know your body. The best doctor that I’ve ever met in my life was a doctor in New York. My little girl right there was chronically asthmatic, sick all the time. And I took her to this doctor. And the doctor said to me, “I want you to tell me what’s going on at home with this child, not once she gets here.” And I’m gonna go off what you are saying is happening real time. And that is how I was able to get her asthma under control because she was sick all the time. So I say this to say if you know yourself, you know that A and B ain’t, you know, A and A ain’t matching or whatever. Look it up. Look it up because the information is there. I’m not saying you’re going to be right, but you can go into your doctor with some type of inkling of what may be going on with you. I say this to say because when I looked it up and I said typed in just what I thought, why is there clear fluid leaking out of my left nostril when I lean forward? Bam. CSF leak. And then it went on to tell me that’s what it was. And it told you how to do a home test. Well, I have diabetics in my life. So, back then they had the little test strips and you can lean over, put the liquid in there, and if you stick the test strip in there, it’ll turn colors. That let me know it was spinal fluid. I contacted my doctor and I had a great doctor. They didn’t even have a test for it. She rushed me in. I had a test. I actually had to let the fluid go in like one of the little urine cups and they they tested at the lab. Found out it was spinal fluid. Now, your spinal fluid should be around in the 20s or whatever. Okay? I have been leaking like that. Not leaking, but pouring like that for six months. When they did a CAT scan, they found out that I had a hole in the base of my brain. Okay? A teeny tiny hole with brain matter hanging out of it. But that’s not all. Okay? My nose, where people have um um what do you call it? where to get their nose broken or whatever, you know, to get a a nose job. I had so much scar tissue up in there that they couldn’t even get to the hole. So, I’m saying all of this, that’s why I know that I broke my nose when I was a child and it just kind of healed and I probably had a concussion. It probably weakened the area. Now, I had had a car accident, a bad one in 2012, which threw me to the front and hit me in that area. So that may have caused the weakening of the tissue there. And long story short, they found it. They closed it up. I had brain surgery and spinal surgery because now I have a shunt in my spine to make sure that the spinal cord fluid is at the level supposed to be cuz even with it leaking, I was at about a 16 and a 17 and normal levels is at 20ome. So that lets you know if I didn’t have the hole, you wouldn’t be seeing me here because it would have filled up in my head and kapow. That’s why I say you really, really have to be vigilant. Don’t let people just tell you anything. If you don’t feel it’s right, look it up and find somebody that’s going to listen to you, okay? And make sure that your mommy takes you to the doctor if you hit your face on a chain link fence. Okay? Anyho, long story, but that’s what that I just had to go there. All right, so now beautiful assistant has finished chopping up everything. She rinsed off the the blueberries and made sure they didn’t have stems. She chopped up my apples. So, this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to get the stuff over here and we’re going to begin to put this together. Now, I want to preheat my oven to 350. And I’m going to do it the oldfashioned preheating so I can have time to put together cuz you know it takes a minute. I won’t do the quick the quick preheat. Okay. Let’s get over here. All right. So, I’m going to whisk together my two cups of flour, my baking powder, my baking soda, and my salt. Okay. and the sugar in a large bowl. So, let me get my bowl, which is down here. I’m trying to get the bowl. That’s what I was trying to get. Okay. So, let me get my large bowl. And put that back down here. Okay. All right. So, I’ve got my large mixing bowl. A beautiful assistant. Here’s your phone. Thank you. Okay. and she’s over here making some bacon to go with this. And you can have a nice bacon. You can have, you know, turkey bacon if you don’t do pork. Uh we have I like to have, you know, some of the um little pan sausages. I do like those, but we’re going to do bacon today. And I got my bowl. So, let me get my flour in, which she has all nicely wrapped in a baggie and take that out. So, remember, two cups of allpurpose flour. Let me get that in there. I’m just going to get it in my bowl and bring that over here. So, let me see. Let me let y’all see. I’mma bend this down a little. See if you can see that. So, I just put Can you guys see? Okay. So, I got the two cups of the allpurpose flour in here. And what I do is whenever I do, even if I do like cake mixes or whatever, I always take a fork and I press out all of the lumps in the flour. Now, I guess this is why people will use a si a sift a sifter. Well, my mother had one. I don’t know why she had one because she really baked, but a sifter is this thing and you put the flour in and you kind of sift it through. You kind of roll it and sift it through so it can be smooth. I do my own sifting which is right here. Just like that. Okay. Just to make sure that the lumps come out. And this is just with the flour. So that’s the first thing I do. You know, it’s it’s a personal thing. You don’t have to. Okay. So I’m putting that the flour is in here. And then I’m going to put four teaspoonfuls of baking powder which is in here. Teaspoonfuls, not tablespoonfuls. And I’m going to add this to my mix. And then I am going to now you see this baking soda has a little lump. So you know I’mma take it before I put it in there and I’m just going to break it up just like that cuz I want everything to be smooth. And we have the baking soda is a/4 teaspoon full. And then I have a/4 teaspoon full of salt mixed up in here. I just mix the two together. Okay. So, let me just kind of break that up. And then I’m going to put it in. Okay. Make sure all of it’s out. Okay. Everything’s out of there. And then I’m going to get my Now, like I said, this calls for 2 tablebspoon of granulated sugar. I have How much did you put in here? Equal. Okay. So, I have two tablespoons of the Splenda granulated sugar. Uh granulated sugar. Now, they have I don’t know if you ever seen it. It looks It comes in a bag. It’s really big. And she put it in here. And um it’s kind of like sugar. Now, I probably will add a little bit of my my squeeze sugar of the Splenda because this is not really all that sweet. I’m not trying to make sweet cake, but I do like the fact that when I make a pancake, I don’t have to put syrup on it if I don’t want to. So, right, I’m putting two tablespoons of and you can use regular sugar or what the sugar of the sugar, the sweetener of your choice. So, I’m putting that in there. Let me get these all put together. And then I’m going to add my cinnamon, which I’m going to do a table a teaspoon full of cinnamon. Okay, which wasn’t already there. So, I’m just going to sprinkle that in just like that. And so that’s going to be a teaspoon full of cinnamon. And that’s it for the dry ingredients. So let me take them and I’m going to stir all the dry ingredients up. They say whisk together the dry ingredients. Well, I’m whisking with my fork. I could do it with my whisk, but you know, I don’t want to mess my whisk up until I put everything together. So I’m just kind of getting it all mixed up. Just like that. Now, if you want a shortcut, get yourself some nice pancake mix and and just do that. Okay, I’m just kind of making this from scratch. And with the pancake mix, you would just add the cinnamon to it. Okay, so that’s all in there. Just like that. And you know what? I may put another little bit of cinnamon in there. Just a little bit. Okay. So, I’mma do that. In the meantime, I’m going to get another little bowl because I’m going to take my apples and I’m going to get the apples with a little bit of a little bit of a Splenda and I’m going to mix them all together in some cinnamon. All right. So, then after I get all this together, I’m going to melt. Now, they say a/4 cup here of unsalted butter. So, let’s see what we got here. Yeah. So, let’s see. That would be one half, a quarter. So, yeah, I got you. So, about this much. About half of that, cuz I always put a little extra. And that needs to be melted. And it’s unsalted butter. And you’re using this to grease your casserole dish. Okay. I got the blueberries. And I got my but my apples. Okay. And you can put powdered sugar on it once it’s done, but I almost find that necessary if I’m going to use syrup. If you’re not going to use syrup, then yeah, you want to put powdered sugar. So, for now, I’m just going to leave that up. What I need now, I need the butter to be melted. And I Yeah. And they’re saying a/4 cup of the butter. Maybe a little more. Like I use maybe a quarter and then like maybe a half. Yeah. I would just melt all of it and then Yeah. Then I just measure out a/4 cup. You know, very simple, you know, easy peasy. So, I got that. I got the butter. So, I’m going to melt the butter and I’m going to let it slightly cool, okay, before using it. So, I’m mixing the flour together. And I’m going to take my egg and I’m going to beat it. So, let me get this over here and just crack it on here because that way I don’t have to worry about it going over to my sink. I have one egg in here. And now I’m going to take another egg. I have one egg that I put in here. And now I’m going to take the other egg and I’m going to just use the white part of it. So, I’m using one egg and one egg white, which I’m going to separate successfully without getting this yolk in here. Don’t they have a machine for that, too? Like a little spoon? I’m sure they do, but I’m not going to spend no money on a spoon for a a spoon for a egg separator when I can do it myself. So, let me toss this in the trash, y’all. I am. So, and I put the extra egg white in there just because I want it to be even lighter and even fluffier. And I got a little yolk on my hand, my white on my hand. So, I’m washing my hands. I’m going to have to cut my here. Well, you can push that out as far as you need to in order to make space for yourself. There’s plenty of space. I didn’t real I didn’t Yeah, I didn’t want to um push you over. Dry that off. Put that over here. That bacon look good. And get back. Okay. So, should I make coffee? Uh, I Yeah, as much as you think. That’s what we want. So, I’m going to take one bowl here and I’m going to put so half of these apples. So, about a two cups or a cup and a half of apples. And it’s up to you how many you want to use. I want to do a lot. So, I’m going to put that in here. And so, she cut the apples up. And you use the whole apple. And I don’t even have to get the slices cuz I can um use the rest of these for a little garnish if I want to. Okay. But so I got about a quarter of that apple in here. Okay. And what I’m going to do, I’m going to take a little bit of cinnamon and put it in my apple. Cover my apple just a little bit. Half a teaspoon full of cinnamon. And then I’m going to take a little bit of my Splender Zero to sweeten them up a little. Just like that. Just a little sweet. And you can just sprinkle a little sugar on there for yours. Okay. Let me get another fork so I can stir that up. Okay. So, and that’s all I’m doing. I’m just taking it and I put a little bit of cinnamon on the raw the raw apple or the uncooked apple and just kind of toss it around just like that. And I’ll do a little more. And you know what? I think I’m going to get just a little bit of nutmeg and put on here. Just a little bit. But these apples are really nice. Just like that. I’m going to keep it there. I’m going to get a little bit of nutmeg if I can find the nutmeg cuz I haven’t used that in forever. Uh it’s it’s a big one, right? It’s what like like that one rubber right there similar to that. I don’t know if that’s actually I don’t think that’s nutmeg. That is chilling in that kind of a lot. Uh okay. Well, maybe I won’t be getting nutmeg. You keep going. Okay, she’s going. But I need the nutmeg. Okay, because I have people tall people here who put stuff in the cabinet and I can’t reach. Okay, that was okay. So, she’s cing for it. Okay, so while she does that, I’m going to take my blueberries that have been washed and picked and all of this stuff hasn’t already checked. Okay. And so this usually if you’re just doing the blueberries, you’re going to do two cups of blueberries. So I have about a cup of cup and a half. Thank you. So I have some nutmeg. And this is optional. So I’m putting my blueberries inside here. Just like that. All of those. And then I need a little bit of flour that I’m going to put the blueberries on. So beautiful assistant can get me the flour. I can do that. So I’m putting a little bit of nutmeg. Just a sprinkle of nutmeg on top of these apples, too. Just like that. Beautiful assistant, if you can pass me a little bit of flour. Sprinkle a little flour into the the blueberries. Putting some in there for you. Right. So, the only reason I’m putting some flour on the blueberries is because this will keep the blueberries from sinking down into the the um what the batter. So, it’s like a like a It keeps it from sinking into the batter. It kind of leaves them on top. Okay. So, a teaspoon full of flour and you just kind of put a little on there and then take this top and then you can shake it up. That’s why I have the top. So, in the meantime, I have these and they’re nice. Just like that. And let me get a little bit more Splenda in there. Cuz these can be a little tart sometimes depending on where you get them from and who you get them from. Okay. So, I got this ready and I’m going to put this top on here. And I’m going to just shake it, shake it, shake it. Now, if you don’t have a top and a lid like this, if you have a freezer bag, you can do that, too. Or you just stir it. But I just want to make sure that everything is coated. I’mma sit it to the side. Let me get this over here. Some extra. And now, I’m going to take my egg. I put the one egg in the egg white. And I’m just going to whip it up. And you don’t have to do this. You can just put it in and whip it all together. But I just like to have all my stuff kind of whipped up to make sure that when I get it into my mixture that it is all going to be incorporated properly, you know. So that’s how I roll. So I’m going to get that all together. Just like that. Did we melt the butter? Okay, butter is melted. And let me finish stirring this up. Is it okay that there’s a little extra flour? Is that good? No, you probably want to get I don’t want it that much. Yeah, you want Okay, that’s good. Then shake it up. Shake it up. Okay, so let me just do that. I think it’s all just about ready. Okay, so that’s good. So now what I’m going to do that I have all of these things together. I’m going to start putting in my wet ingredients. So I’m going to add my um egg into here. Let’s get that like that. And I’m going to take my butter cuz I think it’s it’s it’s warm enough. I don’t want it to be cool enough cuz you know you’re introducing it to a raw egg. So, let me find a/4 cup here on this thing on the black ones. Y’all know I can’t see the this stuff on this black stuff, but let me get the black one. I’m going to put a/4 cup of this butter in here. So, that’s 1/4 cup. Just like that. Okay. So, that’s about this. And I’m going to put that in there. And what the heck? Let’s just put a little bit of more cuz I like butter. Okay. And the rest I’m going to sit to the side. And then I’m going to take my lemon extract. Okay. And I’m putting it in here. And let’s see what else I need to do. Okay. And I’m going to do like a little squirt of my Splenda. And like I said, this is optional. You can add extra if you so choose. So now at this point, I’m going to get my milk. Okay. And I’m not and I may not use all of this milk because the thicker your your your um batter is the higher it’s going to rise. So I don’t want it to be too thick where I can’t pour it. However, I don’t want it to be so thin that it ends up being a thin pancake. And that’s not what I want. Even though it’s called a pancake, but it’s going to be a casserole. So let me get this off of here. A little biscuit. Just like that. Okay. So, let me pour the milk in here. And I’ll start with a little. I’ll start with half of that. So, the milk here is two cups of milk. So, I’m starting with half. And I’m going to just start whipping it. Trying to whip it together. Okay. And of course, I’m making a mess. So, let me pour some more. Okay. Just like that. Now, I would prefer me personally to using my hand mixer, which I may do cuz it just makes it smoother in my opinion. Okay, so it’s getting moist, but this is not really pourable. You would have to spread this into your bowl, but you see how it is like this. So, I want to make sure I get everything in here. Just like that. Let me pour the rest of the milk in here. And I suggest doing this with the milk because sometimes if you do the whole amount, then you can’t take it out. Okay? You can always add more, but you can’t delete anything. So, and I still may use my hand mixer because it just does the job. It just really does. I just didn’t feel like bending down and getting it. I’m just being totally honest. But that’s why you have children. So you get the children to bend down and get my hand mixer. See? See, she gets her 10,000 steps on Saturday. Yes, she does. So, this is coming really good. So, let me put some more. I’mma put the rest of the two cups in there. And when she gets my hand mixer, then I’m just going to really blend it. And the reason why I want the hand mixer, because if I blend it the way I need to blend it, then it’ll help with the lightness and the fluffiness. And you can do it with your hand, too. But you know what? Hey, I got the appliance. I’m going to use it. So, this is pretty much right there. Okay. You see how easy I’m going around and around with this this um whisk. This is the consistency because you want to be able to pour here. Okay. But we need the that’s on that side. Okay. So, I I want I want to see I challenge her to find my my beers to my mixer cuz I couldn’t the other day. So, I’m going to be I’m just going to mix this up. And like I said, really at this point. There you go. Thank you. Okay. At this point, you really don’t need the mixer. This is just me because I know it will give it a lighter texture. So, if you have a hand mixer, use it. This ensures that all everything that I put in here is mixed together the way I need it. And hopefully when it’s all said and done, we’ll have a night and nice fluffy little fluffy fluffy pancake thingy going on. So, I’m going to take my apples. And maybe my apples may need a little bit of flour. I don’t know. Let’s see. I’mma do a little bit of flour in the apples, too, so they don’t float too much down on the bottom. Okay, just a little bit of flour. Just a teeny sprinkle cuz I got enough flour in in these. This is what these look like. So, they fled up and let me just get a little sprinkle of flour to put on these um apples. And where is it? Here. All right. So, I’m just going to get a little sprinkle a little on here and shake it up a bit. And I mean a pinch. Y’all know my pinches. You know, between your forefinger and your thumb, a pinch. That’s the new kind of measurement. I’m going to talk to whoever is in charge of measurements and tell them to add a pinch as a form of measurement. Okay. So, now I got my little pinch of flour in here. I’m going to take it and I’m going to shake it. Just like that. Okay. So, now it’s time to get my little foil casserole dish. Now, you want to get a casserole dish or a foil pan that’s 9 by13, okay? which is your standard size of your rectangular cake pan, foil cake pan if you don’t have a casserole dish. And that’s what you want to use for this recipe for this amount. Now, I’m going to spray mine and I’m going to put a little butter in the bottom of it, but I don’t want the butter to scorch while it’s cooking. So, I’m just using some cooking spray, too, because that’s just how I roll. And I already had cooking spray over here and I would have got the other one. Okay. So, let me get this. Let me spray it. Just like that. And then I’m going to take the butter and I’m just going to put a little bit of butter in here, too. And you’re supposed to take it and kind of move it around. You could you can wipe it around there. But see, like I said, I got my cooking spray. So, I’m feeling pretty confident that when we cook this up, I’ll be able to get this mixture out of the out of out of here. So, let me get that. I got my pan. Let me get my cooking spray out the way. And the reason, and this came from the dollar store, dollar store, Dollar Tree, and I like it because I can take this and let me show you again. I can take the spatula and I can skim all around the bowl and get every bit of this lusciousness. So, I’m going to pour this in here just like that and get all of And it smells so good. It really does. Just just just the batter smells really good. Very aromatic. Okay, let me get that in here. Get that out. Try to get every little every every little droplet out and put it in here. Okay. Just like that. You know what else? If you want to make it like a buttermilk pancake, you can use buttermilk instead of the regular milk. Okay, so I got as you see. There you go. Like that. So now I’m going to take some of my apples and I’mma use my hand and I’m going to just sprinkle my apples on top and hopefully they won’t sink to the bottom. Okay. But we gonna put the apples here. And I’m just going to kind of distribute the apples across the pancake batter. Okay. This is big. I don’t want that one. That’s too big. Okay. Cuz I got to make room. I got to make room for the blueberries. Yes. I got to make room for the blueberries. And this is a great dish like say if you’re doing like a little brunch or you know like um anything. I mean shoot please I’ll eat this like a little snack. Could be a snack. It’s easy. It’s inexpensive. You know it. Hey. And it’s just something different. You know something different to break up the monotony that sometime occurs when you’re making the same type of of of ingredients for things. You know, you can juice it up a little bit and just make breakfast a little special, you know, a little more special, you know, but if you notice, the flour is keeping the fruit from going down. So, let’s see if the flour really keeps the blueberries from going down. Now, the premise of this is you put the blueberries on here. They don’t they’re not supposed to sink all the way in. And as they cook the the juices from the blueberries and the and the fruit are supposed to emit a juice. And so of course it’s going to knock that flour right off of there and incorporate itself. And yeah, I’mma put a lot of blueberries cuz I love blue. I love blueberry pancakes. I’m here to tell that’s the only way I really like them cuz then I don’t if if they have fruit in them, you know, I really don’t care too much about putting syrup on there. me personally, but some people, man, they want syrup and they want whipped cream and all kinds of little stuff and it’s just it’s just way too busy for me. Powdered sugar. Yeah. Pow. Yeah. Yeah. Powdered sugar. I don’t want all of that. That’s like too many different dynamics. My favorite word. Ding ding. We going to have a thing. Go ding ding ding. Dynamic. Yeah, for real. I’ll tell you. Well, you know, everybody got their little signature stuff. Mine is that. Okay. So, let me just stick that in there. Okay. So, and put the last one in. I hate working with flour. I mean, I I know it’s necessary, but boy, I wish there was a simple a easier way than having to deal with flour, you know? Really, somebody come up with an easier way. So it’s not flour everywhere. Flour. Flour everywhere. That’s why I guess I’m not a pastry chef. Oh, one of the banana. One of the bananas. You can use bananas, too. One of the apples jumped out. Jumped out and said no. They said, “Save me. Save me.” Question. Like a chocolate chip. Yeah, you can do chocolate chip, too. If you’re a chocolate if you’re a chocolate fanatic, this is the way to go. You can put chocolate chips in here also. So after that, once the batter is in casserole, everything is done. I sprinkled my blueberries all and coated and everything, put in a casserole dish. And I am going to place it on my baking rack. Well, the rack in the oven, not a baking, you know, the middle of the rack is the sweet spot. I never told y’all that. So, but my sweet spot’s going to be covered with some foil cuz who knows what these little things may decide they want to do. H. So, let me put some foil on my sweet spot in my oven. Okay. A little bit. Cuz y’all remember last week, see, I put that foil there. It’s a good thing I did because when I made those biscuits. Yes. I have a question. So if one were to use keto flour allpurpose flour if you want to use keto you it well you use the same the same um amount well you think texture wise texture wise it may be a little different if I use keto flour I would probably use two egg whites and the reason why to make it fluffier um you know whole wheat flour tends to be a little denser than um flour that’s been mil, but you definitely can do it. And I will put a little bit more bacon soda for rising. Okay. Let me just get this in here. So, we’re going to put this in here. Just like that. Okay. And remember that’s on 350. Get it in here. Excuse. Watch your watch. Watch your um body. Okay. Let me close that. How long would you need to wipe your grease up? Okay. So, you want to put it in and about 30 minutes. So, let me set it for 30. Now, of course, as always, this is a perimeter. The timing of anything that you’re cooking or baking is a perimeter because it’s going to be determined by your oven, your stove. Some ovens get hotter quicker. It depend. And also, if you are using a glass bowl, you want a glass um a casserole dish like what I have that I didn’t use. It’s going to heat up and be hotter. So, you’re not going to leave it in as long. You want to check it. Okay. So, we’re going to leave this in here for 30 minutes. I got the timer on. Let me get that back in here. It can easily become a pork rind with no effort. So, I’m just wiping this off cuz we’re going to get back over here and I’m going to get to telling you guys about the um many varieties of the um ground meat. And when you get a chance, if you can put just a little bit of cinnamon on here and you want to stick them in the microwave and just let them cook a little bit for garnish. And that’s it. How long? Let’s get our little notes on. Well, we talking the six types of ground meat and their variety. Actually, do I have I think I have six. I think I have seven. I have another one that I’m adding. And I’m gonna tell you, I have tried all of these in different recipes. Some of which you guys have witnessed, some of which you have not, which I will be doing. I am telling you, I would do like two or three of them at one time. But see, I don’t have enough people to eat this food. And I don’t believe in in wasting food, you know. So, I don’t do like, you know, how a lot of uh the the chefs or whatever or cooking shows. I mean, occasionally I would do it if I have more people to eat, but you know, I’m not about wasting food. Not these days. So, it’s like I’mma cook what is going to be eaten here. I don’t have a crew that I do have a crew that eat up everything, but not that big of a crew. And no, my coffee is not hot because no one plugged up my coffee warmer that doesn’t taste good. It’s cold coffee. The microwave. Okay, let me go over here and put this. I’m sorry. I got to heat this up. I can’t. Oh gosh, y’all know I can’t. And this is what she says to me. Oh, the microwave is over here. Okay. Yeah, you should you should be occupied, but then you just took my coffee. Uhhuh. Well, my coffee is cold. I’ve already explained to you guys I can’t do cold coffee. I just can’t. And that’s just that’s just not in my DNA. I can’t do cold coffee. So, what you going to do? I tried it. Okay. And I didn’t like it. Yeah, I did. Okay. This is I listen. A half a cup was too much. Y’all only needed a teaspoon full. Okay. A half a cup was more than what I wanted. Okay. I’m just white. I got I see a little bit of makeup on my white wall here. So, I had to watch. You know, y’all know I’m crazy with the clean and I can’t help it. You know what I mean? Yeah. It’s like I I saw a little bit of makeup on my wall. My wall is white. I can’t help but see it, you know. So, I said, “Let me get this off while I’m sitting right.” Okay. Let me stop y’all. Okay. So, all right. See, here I go with this dog on dress and wondering which way to point is supposed to go. So, okay. There it is. Okay. So, six types of ground meat and their versatility. Now, I know you’re going to say, “Oh, you can use it in use it in um spaghetti.” There’s so much you can do with this, trust me. So, of course, there’s ground beef. Now, I’ve been experimenting with different types of ground beef because I don’t do well, my stomach does not do well with regular ground beef that is is ground up and it’s it’s not finely ground. So, I’ve been when it’s on sale, I’ll get some bison burger, which is delicious. I get um the Wagu burger, which is delicious, and it works well for me. However, so you got those different types of ground beef. Then you have, like I said, most ground beef is just the flavor is bold. It’s juicy and satisfying, and it’s really America’s go-to meat when you talk about burgers. So, the best uses for it is for burgers or things like chili or tacos or meatballs or like I said, spaghetti sauce. You know, usually people will use a fat option of about 8020 for the juiciest dishes. You don’t have to do that. You know, I can show you the hack. However, if you want to get it a little leaner, I can show you how to make it just as juicy, still leaner. Okay? And 9010 for lean meals. So the versatility tip for beef is it holds its own in most global recipes that people use ground meat for like Korean they have I don’t know bull bulogi bulgogi bowls and text mess tacos. So we know what we can do with hamburger meat. You can do a lot of stuff. You can make a meatloaf with that too. It’s about if you want to use that. Then you have ground turkey. So people like it because it’s mild. It’s lean. when people are watching their figures or trying to be a little healthier and less fat, okay, it acts like a blank canvas, which is true. But the thing is, the reason why a lot of people don’t like turkey burgers, you have to season it. You have to flavor it. You can’t just take it out the pack and put it in a skillet because it going to taste just like the the package, flavorless. So, it needs to be seasoned. If you season a turkey burger, trust me, this family right here don’t like nothing. At one point, all we did was eat turkey burger. I had transitioned them from hamburger meat. We just recently got back into doing hamburger meat when I started doing this show. And this dress is, let me stand up, about to drive me insane. Okay, so cuz I’m looking at myself with the point going like north or south or east or west and it’s getting on my last ever loving nerve. Okay, so let me get back up here. So anyway, so yeah, we just started doing beef since that’s for about a year, you know, especially when I tasted the Wagu beef and now I’ve tasted the bison beef. So yeah, but they make great I make a great turkey meatloaf. I have a recipe for that. You will not know the difference. You The only difference is is that it’s smooth. You know, the the the the the texture of the meat is smooth, which is good. Okay, you can use it for stuffed peppers, for stir fries, for soups. And it’s heart healthy. It’s low fat. And if, like I said, if you’re trying to be calorie conscious or weight conscious or whatever, it’s just a good switch from beef. Okay. Versatility. It adds moisture boosters. Like you can add things like onions in it or you can put olive oil in it to make it more moist. They, you know, they saying zucchini or whatever or a splash of broth. So you Yeah, you can use broth depending on what you’re making. Okay. So then you have your ground chicken. So that really is flavor is super mild. I think I made Didn’t I make chicken burgers or something like that? You made burgers, too. I made chicken burgers when we did the three burger test. I think it was a pork, a chicken, and beef. Yeah. Oh, no. It was pork, turkey, and beef. But I did make a chicken burger, too. I made something with chicken. I can’t remember. A chicken burger. Yeah. Yeah. I can’t remember. Child, I made so many of these these things. But anyway, it was very good. But like I said, it absorbs the spices and sauce as well. So these are pallets for flavor boost. Like you know me, all about flavor. So the chicken, you can use it for Asian inspired dishes like sliders. You can put it in wraps, meat sauces. It’s very healthy, low fat, high protein, and it ain’t expensive. That is true. It’s not expensive at all. Okay. And it’s best with bold flavors if you’re using gingers and garlic and soy sauce. So, it would probably be very good if you’re making like those pot stickers that I made that time from scratch. That’ll be a good filler. Okay. Or you could even make homemade um um um egg rolls or whatever, you know, and it has meat and stuff in it. Okay. So, then you have, you know, my friend Miss Piggy ground pork. So, ground pork for those people who like pork and they call pork the other white meat, but this will have a little bit darker meat in it. It’s naturally juicy and savory. It adds depth to any dish. They use it for sausages, like I said, the dumplings, meatballs, uh hash hash, you know, rice ball bowls and stuff like that with meat in it. And it has a global reach. This is really popular in places like Latin areas, Asian and European cuisines, and it’s versatile. It’s an excellent mixer. You want to blend the beef or the turkey with the pork and it gives it more moisture and more flavor. So, it’s really it’s Listen, I’ve tried all this stuff, but not exactly in these particular recipes. Like I said, straight up pork burger was was the bomb diggity. It was really, really good. It was something different and delicious. singing. Check her bacon. Yeah, cuz Yeah, I have to keep reminding her cuz she be over there doing all kinds of stuff. Okay, now I tried and I did the ground lamb burger. Ground lamb. Oh my goodness. You can make gyros or heroes is this correct way of pronouncing it. It is distinct, earthy, and it keeps saying gy. I didn’t get that from any of the lamb I’ve cooked, whether it was a lamb chop or the ground lamb or whatever. And I, like I said, the the the lamb um the leg of lamb that I used, the lamb chunks that I used to make the lamb stew that it was on point. It didn’t taste anything like what they’re saying. I guess they don’t know how to season it. Season it the way I season it. You’ll be in love. Okay. Literally, you’ll be in love. Okay. You can, like I said, the gyros are costa shepherd’s pie. People use beef, but they can use lamb and shepherd’s pie because think about it. Shepherd lamb that’s probably what’s the original mean. And it tastes fabulous. I am here to tell you it will taste all kinds of casserles, all kinds of things you can do with it. Like I said, I make a lamb loaf. And so what you do is, and my kids love the lamb loaf because it’s like a meatloaf, but you make it, you can put it on like pita bread and stuff like that and use it like in a in a gyro style or whatever. Or just have it with something, you know, some nice roasted potatoes or something. It’s just really good. Um, and you just can blend it together. You can blend it with beef or you can blend it with ve. You can do a lot of different things. Meatballs. There a lot of things. She put cumin and mint and coriander and cinnamon. More of a um like you could do a real good Indian dish with that with the l with the lamb, ground lamb. My friend Lois Cobb’s favorite meat, lamb. Mary ain’t got a chance with Lois around cuz she going she going to jack lamb the lamb from Mary and everybody else. She loves a lamb. Okay, so then what I tried the other night, ground ve. I was looking for some ve cutlets. Well, the cutlets looked like it was probably two in in the package for about $14.99. I wasn’t going to do that. I had too many people to feed. So, I tried the ve and I got the ve ground ve and it was inexpensive and I got um some sweet um Italian sausage ground and I mixed them together and I put all of these fresh herbs and stuff. Long story short, I made these meatballs and the meatballs are really good. And then I made a nice um h red sauce to go with it and all kinds of cheeses and I layered it inside a casserole dish and I baked and you have all of this cheese exploding with this lovely meat and it was the flavors were just amazing. And then I had like a little side pasta to go. Honey, when I tell you everybody in this house ate that I was shocked. The texture of the ve was magnificent. It was magnificent. I am telling you and you got to use some ve to make a meatball. Also, what I’m going to do, I don’t know, in school when we were going to school, they used to have like I guess ve parmesan or ve little ve sandwiches. They’d have like the patty and it would be breaded. And I thought that that’s how ve came. I really was am not a veil eater. However, when you get a ve cutlet, it’s more like a meat like a steak type texture. But when they ground it and what they were doing, they were grind grounding it and make it into a patty and then they would put breadcrumbs on it and lightly they would bake it or lightly fry it and then put the mozzarella cheese on it and the spaghetti sauce and then put it on a bun. So you had a ve patty. So I’m going to try that to make like some ve parmesan subs. I think that’ll be really really good. I’ll let y’all know how that turn out and then I may even, you know, do it on here. But there’s so many things you can do. Flavor hacks with marinades. And I mean, it’s so many things that you can do. You can even take this ground meat and wrap it around a skewer. Okay. And do some um what is what is your the grill master call it? Um I’m trying to think where it’s not indirect grilling. Okay. And have it on a skewer. There’s so many things that you can do with it. And it’s cheap. So, if you want to have some versatility in your cooking, and it’s so expensive out here to get a a steak or a big piece of meat or something like that, you can have all these different flavors in the form of ground meat. Don’t limit yourself to just hamburger, regular regular burger. Trust me, you want to try it all. It’s very good. You just have to season it according to what the meat is. And honey, you got all kinds of delicious burgers. Ask Corey. He had three at one time. He sure did. So, and that’s all del. And he ate every last one of them. Everyone. Okay. So, where we at? Cuz chicken is universal. You can do everything with chicken and it’s cheaper. I said cheaper. Okay. It is cheaper and it goes a long way. So, I’m going to be doing that tonight. Yes. And our topic is going to be when the relationship goes sour. Kind of go with the lemon sour. You know, y’all get to get the correlation. Anywh who, it’s going to be on point or as the kids say on fleek. Is that what that word that’s that’s what the word is? Okay. On fleek. Okay. Or fire or it’s just going to be great. You want to come on over. Don’t miss that for sure. So, I got to save my appetite for that because it’s going to be so delicious and it’s economical. So, put this way, we won’t starve. We’ll eat the same thing a lot. But he can cook some stuff. Yes, he can. How could you live in the house with me and not cook something? You know, for real, let’s get real. Anywh who, I might as well just go. But I already told you guys my my my it wasn’t a home cooking story time, but story I told you in the beginning. Yeah. Uhhuh. I did tell you my pancake story though that my mother, like I said, she wasn’t a scratch baker or whatever she did. The thing she did bake was a great sweet potato pie, which I’ve shown you guys. And she used to make these little fried apple pies, which is not baked, but it’s a pie. Okay. But she didn’t I I guess that’s why I learned how to make cakes and stuff like that. Like I said, my mother was the baker. She bake you out of out of this world. And my older sister Pam, she’s the baker. She’s the baker. She can bake. She bakes some good stuff, you know. Um I bake and I can bake. And matter of fact, at one point I was doing that. I had a little business called Made by these two hands when I was in New York. And I was baking something called cakeies. They were these cookies about this size that were so moist. They were like cake and I had all different flavors, but then I just kind of they kind of went to the wayside. But anyway, so the pancake thing, I think I told you guys my little brother loved pancakes. Okay, my mother a never cooked a pancake from scratch. I learned how to cook pancakes from scratch. I think my sister gave me the recipe many years ago. I was young in my 20s and I’ve never made anything for my kids other than scratch pancakes until here lately. beautiful assistant found a new back hackup with some box stuff and she fixes it. But we always had scratch pancakes. Oh, wait. I mix mine with the flower. I said she she uses a hack with the box mix. That’s what I said. She uses box mix, but then she, you know, steps it up because we always step everything up. Okay. And they’re delicious. And I’m not mad at them. Okay. Cuz Yes. I ain’t because these kids around here, they’ll eat a frozen pancake, but they like, “Are you gonna make the ones the the homemade?” I’m like, “Oh, man. I ain’t got time for all that now.” Anyway, so he love pancakes. I never really like pancakes. My mother used to get uh the pancake mix in the box. And I think they renamed it. It used to be a mamaima and they renamed it to I can’t remember what the name is. They renamed it to be politically correct. And um so she used to buy that. Aramima, whatever the new name is. I can’t remember. Somebody looked that name up what they renamed it cuz I see it clear as day in my mind, but I can’t remember what they renamed it to. So, cuz people may want to get it. Um, and she would make it and she would whatever you put in it or whatever. But her pancakes used to be this thick, this thick thick like that. And my brother just used to love them. And I could not stand. I always wanted thin pancakes, okay, and perfectly round. Always been visual. Okay. So, Pearl Milling Company, Pearl Milling Company, they they they changed the name from Anchamima to Pearl Milling Company now. So, that’s the name of the company. Okay. However, so she made them so thick I never liked them. But when I started making my own pancakes, even when I used the box mix, I learned the dynamic of thinning the pancake mix enough and making it thin like I like them. So, I began to like them better. But as I learned how to make them from scratch, that’s when I really started liking them because then I introduced fruit and all. It was just really good, you know. So, we’ve been doing scratch ever since. Um, I was thinking about, like I said, the pancakes the other day when I thought about doing this this casserole because I’m like, “Okay, what can I do that’s different with a pancake?” I said, “Ding, ding, ding, casserole.” Now, mind you, I had no idea that people make pancake casserles, and they make them different ways. I don’t think I would want to make it with the already made pancakes. I think this way right here to me is the best way. I haven’t tasted it yet, but from what I’m saying, oh, it’s going to be so great. And I’m here to tell you, you too can bake it from scratch. It ain’t hard. It’s it’s it’s easy. And it’s not You can do this ahead of time. You can freeze this. Yes, you can. Believe it or not, and reanimate it. So, it’s really it’s really an easy dish to make. And you can have all the little fixings if you want to have home fries and different kinds of meats and eggs and whatever. Great hearty breakfast for Sunday, a great brunch. Hey, other was it two weeks ago we had um chicken strips and fried chicken strips and pancakes, blueberry pancakes for dinner. And it was the kids were like, “We’re gonna have breakfast for dinner.” I said, “We sure are. We’re gonna have something different because nobody in this world wrote that I couldn’t have a pancake at night if I wanted to.” So, I just ran out of things to cook for them, you know, because they’re just like they’re so picky for you guys. All the beautiful things that I’ve come up with and you’d always have vers a versatile meal here. The this is a rough audience here for real. So, now I’m at 4 minutes and and um 44 seconds and I’m hoping that it will and and Corey, can you check this bacon? Yes, ma’am. Please. um that it’ll be brown completely. Anyway, so I’m on there and so they they go to Dollar Tree. I don’t know if you have a Dollar Tree in your area. It’s a little dollar store. And I’m looking, they had like all these beautiful plates, like dinner plates, different beautiful colors, turquoise. I said, hm. And they were $150 a piece. I’m like, this would be perfect for everyday dishes for these people here because, you know, I I I get um paper plates, you know, because it’s disposable. They throw my dishes in the garbage can. Not the dishes, but all my utensils. I I bought so many utensils and I have a very nice set and they don’t get to touch them yet a special occasion. But in the in in the trying to save money, okay, because I’m like, you know, how many things do we throw in the garbage and these things are not inexpensive paper plates and then they are literally like this. So then you got to use two of them. And I’m like, okay, I never use disposable stuff raising my older kids or whatever until here lately. Well, I saw those plates and I think I’m going to order seven of those plates, seven of the little dishes, and seven of the bowls. And they even have cups, coffee cups that go with. And they’re all like a dollar. So, I could get all of this. And let me tell you something, honey. The ones you spending all that money for is blown in the same glass factory as these right here. They are very fashionable. They’re pretty. Like I said, if you want to say just have like a little, you know, beautiful lunching or whatever and you don’t want to use your good plates or maybe you don’t have any, run over to the dollar store and even if you don’t have a dollar the dollar tree, they have a website that you can actually order stuff from. It’s so and if you spend about 20 bucks and you got a beautiful setting and any color and it’s just it’s just really really lovely. They even had little wine goblets and all. It was really interesting. I mean, that was just, you know, off off well, it’s food related. You have to eat off a plate. But yeah. Okay. So, now we’re down to 34 seconds, y’all. That’s what I’mma do. Cuz what I’m doing, guys, you know it. I think it was way too much flour on here. So, these these days are not It’s supposed to be more juicy. The the the berries weren’t as juicy as as I guess somebody’s berries are. So, it’s a little bit of flour excess left on here, but not a problem. Just melt it. We’re going to pour us some butter on here. I’m going to let this brown just a little bit more cuz it’s not as brown as I want it to be. So, that may be another thing, too. So, I’m going to take it out. Take this foil out because I don’t have to worry about the foil messing up the pan. Yeah, a half as good. And I’m going to melt some more butter cuz I want this just drenched with butter. But it is nice and fluffy. I’mma stick it in there for another minute or two. That’s what I’mma do. But it looking it’s it’s looking good. I’mma turn it around and rotate it. I want it to get a little browner. But it’s done. I just want it to be brown. The little Yeah. Oh, we forgot all about them. So, I’m sitting here want to make sure I What’s the matter? Our butter was about to bubble over. Okay, we’re going to let this butter cool a little bit while this browns some more. And then cuz we have bacon and stuff. Bacon’s pretty much done by the way. Um yeah, this should be that the last. Okay. So, what we can do is while we’re waiting, I guess we can whip up some eggs. Okay. Okay. So, you can crack some eggs. I’ll cook them. How many eggs we talking? Uh, do you want eggs? Probably maybe one. Yeah. So, I guess you could do maybe six eggs. All right, that should be enough cuz I, like I said, I’m not going to eat a whole lot of that, but I know that the grill master. Okay. You know how he know how he likes eggs. You actually wash this out and put it in here. All right. And um then I’ll make some eggs and then we can plate this puppy up. Um you don’t think you should put the butter on it while it’s browning so it can Well, I am going to let it brown a little bit. I don’t want to soggy it out. [Music] Yeah, I am going to I’m pour a little bit. The butter is kind of hot. So I’mma take this. I don’t want to I don’t want to make my pancakes soggy. Oh, okay. You know. So, yeah. All right. So, we’re going to take a little bit of this butter and pour it on. Going to pour this on top. As you know, we love our butter here. Butter makes all things better. Hey, you know it. You know what it is. Okay. Some butter on here. And this is going to be soaked in butter. No, it’s good. I don’t even have to move it around. It’s just I want it just to be just all over here. Just like the best pancake ever with some but Oh, yeah, man. There you go. Yeah. Buddha. Okay. Yeah. I got a little bit right there. That’s beautiful. Yum. Yum. That’s going to be good. Okay. So, this is this is how we do it now. You get the little butter all on there. Okay. And so, I’m just going to let it brown a little bit more, guys. But so, you see here, I put some more butter, some butter all over here. I just melted that butter and it’s just doing its thing. I’mma stick it in the oven. I’mma hit the oven up with about 400 so it can get crisp on the top and then we can get ready to plate it up. All right, let me turn off and I’m going to do a quick preheat. I’m gonna do 450 actually because I just want it to kind of brown on the top like I want it to look. Get a little crisp and absorb that butter cuz Yeah, it’s going to be a buttery extravaganza. Okay, so give me the eggs. Put some cream in there. We’re going to do a little bit of Casey’s blessing. And I’m already in here. Okay. And I’m going to do some black pepper. I’m just whipping up some eggs to go with this for those people who want it, guys. Yeah. Just mix it all up. It’s not a big deal. And I’m just going to put a pinch of salt. Okay. In there. And I’m not giving y’all a recipe for these eggs because I’m not the egg person. This is my if I can ever get my my grill master to get on television just maybe he’ll just do his torso and make us some eggs. Well, y’all going to have to request that. Okay. Because when I tell you this man can make some eggs. Yeah, he can make some eggs. He can make some eggs. Yeah, he can. But he won’t he won’t he likes his anonymity. You know, he’s not like me. He he ain’t all out there in the world. So, let’s see what we got. That is working perfectly. I think that’s going to be pretty good. Okay, we got our six. No, I need two more. Okay, so she’s crunching up the eggs. She’s crunching up the eggs. She ain’t crunching. She’s cracking up. She’s cracking up the eggs. Yes, she is. She’s cracking up the eggs. Making them last. Here you go. Okay. So, I need a fork to to to Yep. to mix those. And I don’t I need some cream. Okay. I’m just putting a little bit of cream in here. Okay. To dip these eggs. Now, you know what? If you don’t have cream to put in your eggs, if you don’t want to do that, do you know if you put ice water in your eggs, it’ll help make them fluffy? Yes. So, you put a little bit of ice water in your eggs and they’ll be fluffy. So, okay. I need you to get my parsley out cuz you know I got to do a garnish. Okay. And I’m just mixing this up. Like the parsley sprigs or No, the the my chopped parsley. Okay. And I like to fully mix my eggs so I don’t see any separation between Put over there between the yellow and the white again because I’m visual. And you can take the cheese out cuz I know that that’s what y’all want on your eggs. I don’t really care for all that. I’m very basic. I don’t like a whole lot of stuff on my things. So, let me get this over here. That over here. Take my pan. Spray my pan. Check my stuff. Oh, yes. See, now this is what I’m talking about. Now, those blueberries are bursting. They needed a little bit more heat so they could emit the juices. Okay, I’m going to put some cooking spray. Now, see the difference between me and my husband. when he makes his eggs, he got to put a ton of butter in it and stuff like that. I don’t do all that. I just put the cooking spray on there. Maybe that’s why his eggs mine. I don’t know. I need a top for this. I got that. However, I don’t know. I just don’t feel the need to put all that butter and stuff in there. I got enough stuff in there for this. But what he does, he takes his heats his skillet up on like a medium high. So, like a seven on my stove. And then he puts his egg in. He lets it sit. And when it starts to to set up, then he starts moving it around and he turns it down to a five to so to a low medium. And he finishes it up. But he cooks it just enough. And then he takes it off the stove and he lets it finish cooking. And the egg is not over not too hard. It’s over not runny. It’s just right. So, I’mma see if I can replicate his magic. Okay. Did we put a timer on this? I remember that. Nope. It just got back to temperature for the Oh, that was the temperature of the oven. Okay. Oh, that smells yama yama yummy. Wow. You can smell the butter just emitting off of this. Oh my goodness. You going to have me around here singing like little Richard like my like like my beautiful sister was singing last last week. Now mind you, I’m going to make some more of those chicken and biscuits cuz I like having it just hanging around. Hanging around cuz just just when you want that lift. Okay. Chicken lifted me up where I belong. Okay. It sure did. Chicken lifted me up where I belong. Yeah, it sure did. That is good. Okay, so let me make sure I’m not overheating. This is not a lesson in eggs because I’m not the egg I’m not the egg guru, okay? But I put it in my skillet. And when it starts setting up a little, then you take get you one of these dollar little um um um rubber spatulas. And it’s not set up yet. When it starts setting up a little bit, you want start. I’ll just show I’ll I’ll show them one day. What we’re going to have, we’re going to make Corey get on TV and cook a Japanese dish. A little Japanese appetizer. What do you call it? Oniiri. It’s called oni giri. And tell them what it’s made out of. Right. Okay. More than that. Okay. So, now I’mma take this and I’m start moving this around because it’s starting to set up. So, you just kind of move it around. People want to stir and stuff. You don’t. You just kind of move it from one side of the pan to the other. And that’s why you want this flexible spatula because you just kind of fold it over as it’s starting to set up. Okay. And it’s still a little runny. So, we’re going to let it cook a little bit more. Okay. Let me get a paper towel and I’ll put this on here. Okay. Let me check it. I’m checking that. Checking that beautiful checking this beautiful blueberry footage. And so now it’s set up some more. So now I’m just pushing it from the sides. I’m going all around the sides and pushing my egg that has set up on still seven. Kind of pushing it all together just like that towards the middle and getting it off the sides. It’s still loose. But not to worry cuz we going to take it down a notch once it gets right where I need it to be when you don’t have so much liquid. If you’re watching husband, say something. Tell me, tell me something good. So, I got this on here like that. Okay. So, now it’s at the point where it’s just a little bit of fluid. So now I’m going to take it and I’m going to take it down to a five. And I’mma let it sit for a minute. And I’m still going to manipulate it. And I’m just folding it over and folding it over and making sure that the sides are clear of any loose egg. And I’m folding the loose egg into the congeled egg because what I want event I want it all to be kind of congealed and I don’t want it to be dried out because I’m going to sit it on the side and then the heat will finish cooking it but it won’t be overcooked and it’s just a perfect little mixture. This is what he showed me. So, I’m trying to do what he said. I may not do it as well as him. So, hey, this is not part of my recipe. I know how I know how to tell you when this is not my forte. I don’t do this. So, like he does. I make a good scramble egg, but he he does it best. I have to give him a fry. Okay. So, this is what it’ll end up and how I end up giving y’all a tutorial on scrambled eggs. But, do you see this is what they will look like? like that. Let me bring this down. Okay. So, they’re not fully dried. So, you take them like this. And now you take it, you put a top on it. Set it to the side. And they like cheese. So, I’m going to put some cheese on here. And while the cheese melts, the egg will finish setting up and it’ll be perfect and fluffy and delicious. Okay. So, I’ll put a piece of cheese here. I don’t even have to worry about melting it cuz when I put the top on it, it’s going to have the um it’s going to melt. Let me get this egg the top on. If you can pass me that top over there, beautiful assistant. Okay, so I got a top on that. Let me check my thing in here. Woo! Woo! Okay, ready. It’s ready. It’s ready. And it’s bubbling. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Oh my gosh. And all the blueberries have bursted. Oh, there. Oh, woo. Child. So, all the blueberries needed was a little a little heat. You need to turn the heat up. And butter. And butter. Okay. So, let me get this up over here. She’s still working over here. And y’all know me. I got to clean. That’s just flip my bacon. I need a few of the blueberries, too. A few more blueberries just as a garnish to fill them on there. Okay, let me get this out the way. I want to show you guys what we got. Okay, and then I’mma plate it up. Okay, let me put this cheese in the refrigerator so it doesn’t melt. Could you grab the blueberries for Okay. How much do you need? Just a few to go on each plate for garnish. So, just a handful. Okay. And let me toss this. Smells so good. And it does, doesn’t it? Let me turn the light off of my stove and turn my stove off cuz it’s done its beauty, y’all. Okay, let me show y’all what we got. Let me show you what we’re working with. Trying to pick it up. It’s hot. Okay. So, if you can see, can everyone see? Yes. Okay. That’s what you got. This is It’s When I tell you, it’s amazing. The smell of this is amazing. It really is. So, I can’t wait to cut this. I’mma sit this over here. And I’m going to put a piece of foil on top of it. Oh, that’s that’s more than enough. I’m going to put a little piece of foil on top to keep it warm because you want it nice and warm and buttery. Okay. And then we’re going to start to place this stuff up. If you can dry it off. Dry them off. Okay. So, I got that over here. I’m gonna get some plates and I’mma turn you back over here and we’re gonna plate this puppy up. Yes, we are. Okay. Got some plates here. And normally I if you cook this ahead of time and let it cool, it probably would be cut even better. But you know what? We going to find out. Okay, that looks kind of sturdy. And the thing about the eggs she was teaching you guys how to do eggs, a lot of people don’t know, but you need your eggs to be a little moist. When people cook their eggs and they try to cook them thoroughly, you risk making your eggs very dry. But this right here, they’re perfect. This right here. Excellent breakfast or brunch or brunch or dinner. Depending on what you However you want. However you like. Depending on what you choose. Okay. Can I have the plate with the bacon so I can use? I never thought I would like blueberries and apples together. That’s That’s a great combo. That is a good combo for this delicious. So, is it like a pancake casserole or like It’s a pancake casserole. That’s literally what it is. Okay. Yeah. All right. It’s It’s a It’s nice and fluffy, but it still holds up to all the juices from all the different fruit. Now, I got to try it with some some syrup because, you know, where the syrup go and you get that flavor that lemon, that slight lemon and the cinnamon and the lemon mix it elevates it to a point like where it doesn’t feel heavy and everything. It’s very light. And see, that’s what I was trying to achieve, the lightness. Let me get sit down. The lightness, you know, instead of it being heavy and and and dense, I wanted it to be light. Okay, let me taste this. It does look delicious though, honey. Oh, but the syrup takes it up to the next level. Cuz me personally, for my pancakes, I like when the syrup seeps into it and soaks up that extra, you know, the maple flavor. Oh, that is nice. That’s That’s what is hitting right here. That’s nice. You want to try with syrup? I’m going to try it with some syrup. It’s delicious. It really is. But you don’t need a whole lot of syrup, you know, just a little. Tastes like something that you made before. I can’t quite make my dip. I didn’t make a a pan pancake cassle. I made blueberry muffins. Mhm. Okay, that’s good. So, let me try some with the server. See what she’s talking about. Mhm. M cuz then with the maple flavor on top of all the other layers of flavor. Okay. And that’s that. It’s another flavor. Yeah, it definitely it definitely.
