Introducing Krispy Kreme’s Passport to Italy Doughnuts
You will really be living la dolce vita—the sweet life—when you visit your neighborhood Krispy Kreme to pick up its new, limited-edition flavors inspired by three iconic Italian desserts. The new “Passport to Italy” collection includes a Cannoli Inspired Doughnut, a Limone Delight Doughnut, and a Tiramisu Doughnut. Just like a balmy summer vacation in Italy—these doughnuts are only available for a limited time, starting July 29.
The first doughnut in the collection is the Cannoli Inspired Doughnut, which features an unglazed ring doughnut half-dipped in chocolate icing and cookie crunch, dusted with powdered coating, and topped with a buttercream dollop that mimics the cream at the center of a cannoli. All doughnuts are great with coffee, but we have a feeling this one will take your morning espresso to the next level.
Next up is Limone Delight Doughnut. This citrusy variety brings the flavors of the Amalfi Coast stateside, featuring an unglazed shell filled with a lemon delight creme, dipped in a zesty lemon-flavored icing, and topped with candied lemon.
