Lawrence Fish Market Chinatown — solid value, respectable sushi

I've always been curious about Lawrence Fish Market given the love it gets here; was in the mood for non-omakase sushi tonight so swung by the new Chinatown location.

The space is appropriately sized and perfectly fine, service was pleasant and efficient. Prices were quite reasonable, as expected.

Spicy scallop roll + negihamachi/yellowtail roll + 10 assorted pieces of nigiri came out to just under $44 pre-tip. The sushi itself ranged from better-than-average to good and I thought was very good considering the price. Would definitely return next time I'm in the mood for sushi that
