First time growing Habaneros this year and wanted to try making a sauce.
Turned out really well and everybody that’s tried has enjoyed it! Great feeling

This is awesome. Are those bulbs of garlic in the last picture?

Sorry I’m new to reddit I meant to add more information to my post.

    For this one I used,
    200ml white vinegar

    Splash of cider vinegar

    Splash of water

    Couple teaspoons of honey

    A bunch of basil

    A couple garlics

    10 Habaneros (Habahot F1)

    Handful of chopped shallots

A couple carrots for thickener. I used celery in my
2nd batch and it did the same trick

All simmered for 20~ mins and then blended. Tasted after blended and added some more basil or sweetness if needed.

I made a lemon honey hot sauce too with some orange lantern habaneros but I’m not a big fan of the flavour. I’m not sure what it would go with, the lemon doesn’t work with the heat in my opinion. Maybe mixed with mayo it’ll be nice on chicken?

It’s my 3rd batch of hot sauce and I’m really enjoying experiments. I want to try fermented hot sauce next time e

I have a ton of basil and habanero in my garden – definitely gonna give this a try!
