There’s no denying it, Italian cuisine is one of the tastiest in the world! And in Paris, there’s no shortage of it to enjoy to the full. From Italian-stylepizzerias and brunches to traditional restaurants, there’s plenty to enjoy! This time, we’ve tracked down the smallest Italian restaurant in Paris. And you’ll see that behind this little address lies one of the capital’s best fresh pasta restaurants!
Osteria Dell’ Anima: the smallest Italian restaurant in Paris with a reputation for fresh pasta
In this tiny restaurant in the 11ᵉ arrondissement, everything has been homemade for over twenty years. The chef, originally from Sicily, offers a tasty menu that will take your taste buds straight to Italy. We begin this culinary odyssey with the starters, featuring an absolutely divine burrata-filled tomato. Then it’s on to the house specialty: fresh pasta. Here, pasta is lovingly prepared every day, and cooked in just a few minutes. Taste? It’s an explosion of flavors. You’ll almost feel as if you’re eating pasta for the first time, the taste is so incomparable.
We recommend the Pasta with Parmesan Cream, Spinach and Bresaola, which is as sweet and tasty as a dream. If you prefer simpler recipes, go for the cacio e pepe, made with spaghetti, black pepper and pecorino romano! A comforting and devilishly effective dish. Finally, for dessert, it’s impossible to miss the tiramisu, made here without alcohol. A real treat for the sweet tooth!
Given the limited number of seats (around 15), we strongly advise you to reserve your table before coming! As you can imagine,Osteria Dell’ Anima may be the smallest Italian restaurant in Paris, but the quality of its dishes has already made a name for itself in the neighborhood (and beyond). An address to discover!
