Absolutely delicious! This is my first roast since buying a sous vide circulator, and I could not be more happy with the results.

**This is a generic reminder message under every image post**

Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

    Thank you!!

ChatGPT said that I should do 24 hours, but I just couldn’t wait. Tasted incredible at 22.

-130° seems a bit cold, no?

Jokes aside, looks like a delicious slab of meat you’ve got there! I bet it was tasty. Did you make a sauce or anything to go with it? I’m sure the bag juice would make a wonderful au jus.

Looks fantastic! Did you chill/freeze before searing? How did you sear?

Looks a lot like the pichana I cooked last weekend. Either way looks delicious!

You had to have seared, correct? Otherwise it wouldn’t have the dark color on the outside. How did you finish the cook? Looks great!

What did you put in the bag with it, seasonings, herbs?

  8. How do you do it for so long without all of the water evaporating?

Is that a nice sear I see there? Beautiful job
