July 29, 2025 — Willow Osteria, a new Italian restaurant envisioned by prominent Fresno restaurateur Jimmy Pardini, is set to open its doors in Clovis this fall. Pardini, the founder of The Annex Kitchen and Annesso Pizzeria in Fresno, has now shared details about his latest culinary venture, which he designed from the ground up.

This full-service restaurant at The Avenue at Heritage Row marks an expansion into the Clovis market. Pardini expressed that the move was a natural progression for his brand, driven by community interest and a long-standing desire to create this specific project. He highlighted the advantageous location, adjacent to The Row, a successful mixed-use development that has continuously grown since its 2020 opening. The Avenue at Heritage Row is a collaborative effort between the Ricchiuti and Parnagian families, aiming to establish a vibrant destination at the intersection of Willow and Shepherd avenues.

Willow Osteria’s menu will feature a range of regional Italian pastas and wood-fired meats, drawing inspiration from Pardini’s extensive travels through Italy. Dishes will represent regions such as Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Rome, and Umbria. The restaurant’s design includes an open-concept kitchen with a traditional Tuscan wood-burning hearth for grilling, alongside a comprehensive wine selection and a full bar.

The interior is thoughtfully designed to offer multiple dining experiences. Upon entering, guests will find a welcoming bar area with both bar seating and dining tables. Beyond this, smaller, more intimate dining rooms will lead to the main dining space. The restaurant will also include a patio for outdoor seating, ensuring a variety of atmospheric “feels” for diners.

Willow Osteria anticipates creating between 80 and 100 job opportunities across all positions. Interested applicants are encouraged to send their resumes to info@annexkitchenfresno.com.
