Clam Sauce Pasta- The Lazy Girls Kitchen

For this recipe you will need:
– 1 lb spaghetti or pasta of your choice (cooked according to instructions on package)
– 1 large onion chopped
– 3-4 large garlic cloves minced
– 3-4 basil leaves chopped
– 32 oz. can tomato sauce
– About 6.5 oz clams with clam juice
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1 tsp oregano
– 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
– 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

It’s a tomato sauce like infused with clam juices and clam bits and it’s absolutely wonderful. Also, it’s really easy. So, that’s a big bonus in my book. We just use, you can use fresh clams if you want and fresh clam juice, but I just buy mine from the can and it’s wonderful. It does the job. It’s also really affordable.
