So, Chloe gave me the full body cleanse today and we’re off to the races. So, here we go. That’s what taking five pills looks like. All right, Kim. It has been an entire week. It has. Since we did our weigh in, the blood test, all that good stuff. Yes. Now, I do want to know how this week has been for you. I saw a little something myself that I was not too happy about. Um, my jaw was actually on the floor to be very honest. But I’m going to let you walk me through your week. This week was a challenge. I’m not going to lie. So, I don’t know if we realize, but there is so much in the food that we eat. I’m trying to follow this this full body cleanse, diet, meal plan, prep. I really don’t know what I sign myself up for. I’m going to try to be positive, remain positive, but every aisle, there’s nothing on this list. Like you literally have to get there’s one section in this store that you have to get everything from and it’s all the way over there and I’ve already tried to get you know as much as I can. I’m already cheating on the almond milk because who the hell about to make fresh almonds. I’m not making no no fresh almond milk. There are moments in life that make me feel like I am unstoppable, like I can do anything and everything. And then there are moments like right now that make me feel like I don’t know how I’m going to get through the rest of this this challenge. The way I don’t want to get out of this car to walk my ass in this gym is criminal. I don’t want to do it. I don’t want to. I don’t want to spend 50 minutes on the stair master and the treadmill. I don’t want to do 500 reps of ab workouts. I just don’t want to. So, one of the days AD sent me this workout that was insane. I think when I added up all of the reps, it was something like 700 800 reps of leg exercises. After doing that, my ab exercises, my two rounds of cardio for the day, I was like, I need a hit of something. I need something. So, this ain’t going to work. Let’s talk about cheating because I’ve done a great job past seven days. We’re on day seven. No meat, no cooked food, raw, vegan. Today, I felt the way. Today the workout was hard as today. I cheated. I I I needed a a a hit. A hit is crazy. I was like, I need a hit. I know that that sounds like it’s it’s insane. But after I did it though, I was like, I know that this is not a part of my diet. I know this is not what I was supposed to do. And I I was honest. I shared it with my my uh accountability group. I put it on Instagram. I tagged the Herbs. I tagged everybody. I was like, “Look, I’m sorry. I know this is what I did. It won’t happen again, but I needed a hit.” I just so happened to see Kim’s stories pop up. And I mean, kudos to her for allowing her her audience, her public to be her accountability partner. But this woman pops on and is like, “You guys, I caved. I cheated.” When I tell you my jaw was on the floor, I was like, “No, it happens.” I think I just didn’t expect it to happen so soon. But I think on the other side of that coin, I’m kind of glad it happened early. Like, let’s get the cheating out of the way so that we can get consistent to see these results. It’s also like me learning the intricacies of of the raw vegan diet. So, when I was like, “Okay, cool. I’m gonna make my smoothies, strawberry, banana, whatever. Let me throw in my little protein, my little spinach.” Yeah. We learned that that all protein isn’t made the same. And so, protein powder, even though it says plantbased, don’t go with the raw vegan diet either. Uh, so we learned that. We also learned that almond milk, unless you’re making it yourself and you’re actually soaking those almonds and juicing that that fluid, um, that don’t work either. So, as I’m talking to AD throughout the week, so little bit about AD that I’m so excited about is that Kim is actually here because of AD. He’s a trainer on the I can show. He is the CEO of D Herbs. And he’s like, “Well, what are you eating?” And I said, “Smoothies.” He goes, “Well, what’s in them?” And I tell him and he’s like, “That ain’t raw vegan.” And I said, “I thought I was doing a good job.” So things like that for me as a person that’s never had to do this, I think you just have moments where you learn. And so, okay, you definitely had a week to say the least. I really want you to hop on this scale. And the thing is is that we are going to learn once again from what we see and we’re going to move forward. Um, I’m happy to step on this scale, but I I need you to hold my hand. I just need you to guide me. You’re not going to keep it there. I just I just need you to guide me, please. Okay. Cuz I didn’t want to add any extra weight to No, we’re not doing that. I took off my Apple Watch, my rings, earring, everything. I If if this was a different type of show, the dress would be off, too, to make sure that this weight was Excuse me, please. Would it what it needed to be? Can I take off the mic? is the Okay, it is 196.2. Awesome. Today we got on the scale and it sounded like I was a little bit over 3 lbs down, which is exciting because I know that my trip to New Orleans kind of bumped me up a couple pounds. Got those off and then now to know that I’m an additional 3 lb is good. I’m like, “All right, okay. We’re moving. We’re getting somewhere.” And I don’t know that this is going to be the pace the entire time, but I’m hoping that we can keep this up. So, we had today’s weighin. I’m honestly not mad at it cuz Kim lost a significant amount of weight week one. And so, to lose a little over 3 lbs this week versus a pound a day, which is the typical plan for us, we’re still on track. We’re absolutely still on track here. So last week we were talking about foods that you can eat and you mentioned loving the cauliflower rice so far. Yes. So we have a little surprise for you today. Chef Antoine. You right. So today we have my friend Chef Antoine, our Derbs raw vegan chef. Now, he not only helped us here at the Herbs come up with so many of these recipes, he’s about to come up with a book, a cookbook coming soon so we can really also get into it that much more. And it’s just a bonus that I get to come and eat this delicious food today. So, I am so hyped, guys. I hope Kim is excited, too. I heard somebody uh really enjoys cauliflower rice. So, we have one dish. Uh, this is a cauliflower rice with a pomegranate seed tibuli. My god. Okay. And I heard that you were really into pistachios. Is that correct? Yes. Okay. Well, what we did is this is a super simple recipe. This is a twoingredient cacao pistachio energy ball right here. Thank you. Okay. I have to try this. Which one would you recommend I try first? Let’s go ahead and start with the cauliflower rice tabuli. So, and you said this is pomegranate. Yes, those are pomegranate seeds on top. They’re going to give it that color of course, but then it also add to the texture. You overall Chloe, would you like to? Absolutely. You guys want to try Kim first? Go ahead, girl. Okay. Everything’s just finally really finely minced. Oh, that’s different. Mhm. Why? I don’t know. But it just scream no. Right. Um, but the different flavors that are in here. I think the pomegranate, too. I keep I I’m sorry. I know I’m supposed to be sharing. Oh, no. Go for it. You go to town. This is actually really good. This is good. I really like that. Do you have more of this? Oh, I have a I have a lot more. This is like the show. You You get this, you get this, and we’re going to send you home. Yeah, please send me home with some more of this. I got you. Absolutely. How long does it take to make this? 20 minutes, 15 minutes, and then you know, you let it sit in the fridge or let it sit in that marinade for I let it sit for about 2 hours, 3 hours. Okay. Chef Antoine was dope. Like, his energy was so chill and so cool. I could tell that he does this a lot. I could tell that he’s really passionate too about the foods that he creates. Even just the few meals that we got to try. So like the cauliflower rice dish with the pomegranate, that was one of my favorites. So on to the next. On to the next. Yes. Now I’m I’m not going to lie to you. Pistachio are my absolute favorite of the nuts. Okay. Okay. Good. That’s I’m a little scared of this just because of the look of it. Like I’m a very visual texture person. No, absolutely. And this makes me nervous. I’m excited, but I’m nervous. Well, don’t be nervous. The brown in there, just think it’s cacao. It’s gonna have that nice familiar chocolatess. And then that green you’re seeing, all that green, that’s just pistachios. It’s covered in what you love. So, I’d say dig in. Take a bite. Okay. And I’m guessing the dates, they bring out the the sweet. That’s where you’re getting your sweet. Mhm. That’s what makes it This would be classified as a dessert, actually. Oh, it’s very soft. I thought it was hard. No, think about it like a fudge almost. Oh. Like I feel like I have to watch your face with this one. Okay. Okay. Okay. That shocked me. Yeah. When you said fudge, you lost me. I don’t like fudge. I would not consider this fudge. This is a lot softer than I had anticipated. But it’s actually really good. So, when he came out with this the pistachio balls, I was like, “Oh, I tried it. I I was hesitant to try it just because again, I’m a texture girly.” And so, when I saw it, I thought it would actually be hard. When I picked it up, it was soft and like gooey, like like mushy. So, I was like, “Ooh, I don’t know how I’m going to feel about this.” I’m very picky with eating, which is crazy being how overweight I was. But when I took a bite, it was actually delicious. Okay. Hey, do you want my first impression? Yes. I’m scared. Okay. Okay. I can understand that. Intimidating. Can you walk us through what is in this? Okay. So, you have the base is going to be sunflower seeds, right? Raw, 100% desshelled by hand. There’s a deseeded jalapeno in there as well. I made sure though, very finely chopped. No seeds to be found anywhere. It’s just a nice sort of a spicy sort of savory almost like a spread that you can you know put over a cucumber say 100% raw but still get plenty of flavor and you know let’s all use our boug. Okay. Okay. Here. Cheer. Are we cheers? Cheers. Right. Cheers. Cheers. Here we go. I’m not going to lie to you and say this one is for me. This one ain’t for me. Oh. um the cucumber situation with the sunflower situation. I ain’t like that. That’s that’s what we’re here for. Just the process, you know. We want to see what you like, what you don’t like. We have so many different recipes, so many different ways to prepare things that This is good. This is good. Okay, good. Yeah. Yes. Okay. So, this is our final recipe. This is the one we’re kind of going to be doing together a little bit. We’re making raw walnut meat meat tacos today. You know what? I I’m taking I have your dish in in my hand. I’m so sorry for jumping the gun, but when you put it down, I could smell it and I just I was like, “This smell like the taco package.” Yeah, it does. Yeah, it does. So, what’s all in there? Okay, so you have equal parts cumin, there’s chili powder, there is dried oregano, there’s not equal in this, there’s salt, there’s black pepper. So, what we’re going to do is we are going to take these walnuts. I like to just go around evenly with some walnuts, raw walnuts. All right. And those are good straight out the bag. Straight out the bag. You can just eat these if you like. Honestly, not the most taste in the world, but you can just eat these if you’d like. Now for our seasoning mix. That’s what I’m excited about. That smells great. This one’s interesting. So, you kind of want you want it to be the consistency of ground beef or as close as you can. So, when you’re putting this in the food processor, important, try not to just turn it on and walk away. You want to get your pulse on and it should be a setting on your food processor. So, while you’re blending, as it’s starting to clump up as it’s getting on the sides, don’t be afraid to like stop it halfway through. Get a spoon and push everything back to the middle so everything keep blending. And don’t be afraid to add water, but just add it filtered water, but add it little by little cuz if you overdo it, you can’t like un add the water. You know what I mean? And after little to no work, you’re left with your taco meat filling right here. That looks great. Right. So, if everybody wants to go ahead here, grab a a leaf, grab everything. We’ll start assembling our taco. Okay. And at this point, you know, you just dress them how you like tac. I like a little bit of a little bit of that Saboya, too. Never hurt nobody. Mine is getting cute, right? It’s like a little mini art project. Yep. Exactly. Look, get the kids involved. Okay. Digging in. Excited. We are digging in. Chef Twan’s famous raw vegan. Let’s do it. Tacos. Is butter leaf everywhere? Cuz I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this before. You said that. M. Mhm. Mhm. This is really giving a spicy Taco Bell like for me cuz I I like Taco Bell. That’s a compliment for me. I’ll take it. This is giving the hot sauce with the the Oh my god. My all-time favorite honestly was the tacos. Like Chef Antoine was cool with showing us how to do it, not just presenting it to us, which I think was really important because I then want to take that home and make them myself and make that one of the staples of this diet. Um, knowing that I’m from New Orleans and he added the cayenne and made it kick for me, that sealed the deal. So, when I bit into the butter lettuce wrap and the walnut meat, like it just it exploded in your mouth. And I don’t know that I would ever be saying that about vegan style meat. There we go. Uh he was just dope. I really appreciated him showing us around the kitchen and showing us how to get those meals done. It’s been a pleasure, ladies. Thank you so much. Absolutely. Absolutely. But I think it’s because I, like I said, I was trying to do some stuff in the kitchen, trying to figure out the raw vegan diet and eating and and trying to figure out how I can throw things in a pot and what I can do. Um, so next week I’m going to stick more so to the basics. I’m hoping for seven or eight lbs. If we can get that, I think we’ll be in good shape.

    This almost seems fake. How on EARTH 🌏 does a person sign up for this and then squirm and complain as if they were drug kicking and screaming 😱 into the process in lieu of them being the one that initiated this process. Insane 🀯
