A quick and easy version of Spaghetti alla Puttanesca by my friend Giustino as cooked at home by Italians. The only things that are prepared earlier are the spaghetti itself which normally takes 8 minutes and a tomato sauce of your own choosing even from a jar! You could use more cherry tomatoes instead and let them cook down for a little longer.

Aino. Hello. How are you? Well, thank you. Okay, Ellison, thanks for inviting us in. Right. And uh what are we cooking today then? Today we’re spaghetti puta. Very simple. And the ingredients? Ingredients. Anchovies. Right. Olives. So these are anchovies straight out of like tins and whatever. In olive oil. All right. These are cut olives. Okay. Capers. Capers. Right. Yep. Cherry tomato. Cherry tomatoes and fine chopped parsley. Parsley. Excellent. Right. No garlic or anything like that? Yeah, garlic. The garlic has You’ve got You’re using garlic paste. No, no. We crush this. I mean, yeah. All right. Cool. Olive oil and that’s it. Olive oil. Right. Got everything there. Okay. So, how do we start? How do we start? So, this is your pan. [Music] Okay. All right. So it’s fairly high heat, right? Yeah. Okay. So garlic. Yeah. You can add chili if you like. Okay. So chili you can add as well. Just to give a chili paste. All right. Just a teens together. Like a teaspoon. Yeah. Just a bit. All right. Only one. Okay. All right. We let it fry a bit. All right. While that’s cooking down a little, fairly high heat, right? Okay. And you’ve got some pasta. Spaghetti is like half ready. Half precooked. We see the garlic start to be golden. Yeah. So that’s only like a minute or so. Yeah. Right. Y. So the are going to melt down. Okay. Right. [Music] So, just a small pinch of paper. All right. So, the cables are quite sour and so just watch. Yeah. going to squeeze and then put the water from here. From the Yeah. So starchy water. Yeah. Yeah. Is that all the tomatoes you need? Is it just for, you know, for Okay. And then we can add some sauce for some to that. So the past you’re putting in right here. Okay. Okay. Right. That’s different. A little bit more water. Y give a chance for them to melt as well as burning. Right. A bit. Okay. So, let it simmer on lower heat. Yamato, [Music] right? I mean, a touch. Okay. It’s going to make it. Okay. Like a half cup. That’s it. Now from there we can add another two. All right. Texture. So the other ones have almost melted this one. Yeah. And these are the ones for you know texture. All right. Okay. Okay. Basically it’s ready. Okay. As quick as that. Very quick. Right. And so so the spaghetti was already out there. Just heat it up. And when we do that, we add some water. Oh, I see. Right. Okay. We get a little That’s water. [Music] That’s the garnishing of the end. [Music] What? [Music] Bit of water. Give it a bit sh [Music] I think we’re ready for the [Music] [Music] Okay. Wow, that looks beautiful. You put some parsley on there, too. Little bit of parsley just to finish the plate. Finish the plates. Oh, superb. That looks beautiful and very authentic. So, that’s how you would cook it at home. Yes. Yeah. Combination of the things.
