Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. If you’re new here, I am so happy you stopped by. Excuse me, I’m a mess today. I am cleaning out my pantry. You just get to that point where you’re like, I can’t stand it anymore. So, I’m reorganizing everything, throwing old stuff away, and after I’m done, I know I’m going to feel so much better. But on today’s video, it’s all about chicken. We eat so much chicken here, but after a while, it just doesn’t have any taste. So, the way to fix that is with marinades. That is going to completely change your chicken game. Now, I’m going to show you three different marinades today. They are all amazing, and they took me 20 minutes to make all three. You can uh And when you’re done, what I like to do is I take my chicken, put it in a ziploc bag with a marinade, and stick it in the freezer. And then when I want a quick dinner, I just unthaw the night before. Grill it, bake it, you’re good to go. So, let’s go and I’ll show you all my marinades. So, the first one I’m going to show you is a cilantro lime. You’re going to need cilantro, honey, fresh garlic, onion powder, some cumin, some olive oil, lime juice, and salt. But I like to use this tahin because it’s just salt with a little chili pepper. And optional, a little splash of tequila. So, all you’re going to do is zest your limes and then you’ll have juice and just squeeze that into your mini food processor. Now, guys, I will have the exact measurements in my description box. And I like to also add just a little bit of honey. Now, I’m just eyeballing this because you don’t need, you know, you don’t have to be too exact. Although, I still will put what I used. And then just put your cilantro in there, your chopped garlic, and I put just a tiny bit of water just to get it going. And then just, you know, pulse that for 10 seconds and you’re done. And the smell, oh my gosh, so yummy. And isn’t it a pretty color? So now we’re going to do a honey mustard. You’re going to need Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, olive oil, fresh garlic, salt and pepper, and um, of course, we’re putting the honey mustard in our food processor with a little bit of honey, the olive oil, apple cider vinegar. That’s going to give a nice little tang. The garlic, onion powder, pepper, and then just give that a little whirl. And it makes this nice creamy marinade. Now for the third one, we’re going to make a Greek yogurt. We’re going to need whole milk yogurt, tiny splash of water, some olive oil, some fresh lemon juice, tiny bit of honey, some dill, some oregano, and I happen to have this fresh oregano left over from a catering job, so I’m adding that, too. some pepper, and just a tiny bit of smoked paprika, salt or seasoned salt, lots of fresh garlic, and just whirl that up. And here you go, your Greek um yogurt dressing. Now, how easy was that? Now, I’m using boneless chicken thighs. And you guys, you’ve got to get this amazing thing. It’s a meat tenderizer. It has all of these little sharp needles and you just um you know smash it down on whatever meat you’re using and that way the marinade is really going to get in there and make it extra flavorful. You can use a mallet, but I find that it tears it with those little mallets with the spikes. And look, see I put it all in Ziploc bags ready to go. I am going to grill these today. Um, I actually didn’t want to go outside cuz it was 105, but I’m using my grill pan. And you almost get the same flavor. So, I just grill them on both sides for a couple minutes till I get some nice char marks like this. And then what I do um is after I I put those on the skillet, I just bake them in the oven for like 15 minutes until they finish cooking. And look at these. They are so flavorful. You can use them all throughout the week. So, I hope you’re going to give these marinades a try to jazz up your chicken. Thanks so much for watching and we will see you on the next video. Bye, everybody. [Music]
