The food scene in Coal Harbour has been popping off recently, and now another heavy-hitter for Italian cuisine has just opened its doors — and it has a covered patio.

Nook has officially opened the doors to its latest location in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour at The Stack (a.k.a. B.C.’s tallest office tower, located a few blocks away from the Vancouver Convention Centre).

Expect everything that you’ve grown to love about Nook, from its house-made pastas and pizzas to its hospitality.

“We believe that neighbourhoods are better with a Nook,” said Benjamin Cooney of Nook Restaurants. “With this location we wanted to create a space where people in Coal Harbour — whether they live here, work nearby, or are just visiting — can connect, relax, and share great food and drink. We’re excited to meet our new neighbours and future regulars.”

The 107-seat restaurant will include an additional 32-seat covered patio, along with an expansive central bar and open kitchen, allowing you to watch your pizzas and pastas being prepared.

You can look forward to enjoying fan-favourite dishes from Nook as well as rotating daily specials, and new menu items exclusive to this new location.

Examples include the Stuzzico Dip (a smoky mix of fire-roasted eggplant and sweet peppers with house-made foccacia), Roasted Half Chicken (topped with olives, chickpeas, preserved lemon, and sultana raisins), and a new take on Nook’s salad (including a savoury Caesar tossed in classic dressing and finished with baked pecorino wafers).

The wine list will also feature plenty of Italian wines that fans of Nook will recognize, along with a few of what the restaurant calls “hand-picked surprises” from exclusive wineries. You’ll also be able to enjoy other favourites, including the Negroni, Aperol Spritz, and a fresh seasonal Limoncello Spritz for summer. Classic Nook creations like the Paper Plane and El Popo (a twist on the spicy margarita) will also be available.

Nook Coal Harbour is open seven days a week for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
