Syracuse, N.Y. — Byblos Mediterranean Café in Syracuse is heading back to “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” this week, making its second appearance on Guy Fieri’s Food Network staple.

The episode, titled “Around the World and Off-The-Hook,” is scheduled to air Friday, July 18, at 9 p.m. on the Food Network.

This is the third Central New York stop on Triple D in recent months. The crew visited Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub in the past year. That episode aired last month. Before that, they featured Eva’s European Sweets.

Byblos, a family-run Lebanese restaurant at 223 N. Clinton St., first landed on Fieri’s radar when he featured it in an “Authentic Eats” episode Dec. 10, 2012.

Clearly, the crew liked what they tasted, enough to come back for more.

The new episode is part of the show’s global-themed tour, and fans of fresh hummus, crispy falafel and shawarma will want to tune in.

Follow along on Facebook and Instagram for behind-the-scenes photos and promos, which will drop in the days leading up to the air date.

And if you’re one of the Byblos regulars who swears by the baba ghanoush, keep your eyes peeled, you might see a familiar face on screen.
