🧂 INGREDIENTS
Pickles:
-Vlasic Ovals (or any sliced dill pickles)
Breading:
-1 egg, beaten
-½ cup all-purpose flour
-½ cup panko breadcrumbs
-¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
-½ tsp black pepper
-Salt to taste
-Optional: Garlic powder (for additional flavor)
For Frying:
-Vegetable oil
Homemade Ranch Dressing:
-2 packets Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix
-1 ⅓ cups buttermilk
-1 ⅓ cups mayonnaise
Cajun Dipping Sauce:
-¼ cup prepared ranch dressing (from above)
-3 tsp ketchup
-¼ tsp Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning
-¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
-¼ tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
-A pinch of salt (optional)

🥣 INSTRUCTIONS
Part I: Prepare the Dipping Sauces
-Homemade Ranch Dressing:
1. Whisk ranch seasoning mix, buttermilk, and mayonnaise together
in a bowl until smooth.
2. Store it in the refrigerator.
-Cajun Dipping Sauce:
1. In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing, ketchup, Creole
seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
2. Adjust spices to your preference.
3. Store it in the refrigerator.

Part II: Pickles & Breading
-Prep the Pickles:
1. Drain pickles and lay them on paper towels.
2. Cover with another paper towel and gently pat dry to remove
excess moisture.
-Set Up a Breading Station:
1. In the first bowl, beat one egg (adjust the number of eggs based
on how many pickles you’re making).
2. In the second bowl, mix together flour, panko breadcrumbs,
cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. You can also add a bit of
garlic powder if you like your batter a little garlicky.
-Bread the Pickles:
1. Dip each pickle slice into the beaten egg, then dredge evenly in
the seasoned flour and breadcrumb mixture. Press lightly to
ensure coating adheres.

Part III: Frying
-Heat your oil to around 350–375°F (175–190°C)(around 350°F / 175°C).
-Fry breaded pickles in small batches until golden and crispy
-Transfer fried pickles onto a cooling rack or paper towels to drain excess
oil.
