Miso soup. Rice with a fried runny egg. Spinach. And a bit of fried cod.
Don’t think it counts for traditionally Japanese, but you can say Japanese inspired.

You can cook lots of veggies like potato, carrots onion and mushrooms in the broth first to make baseline soul and you turn off heat and add miso. That’s what we call Kansai style !

I would say very good first attempt.
Probably you need to work on the flavor balance (I know I did, and still do), and presentation but this was an ambitious first try and I would say you did very well!

Looks good to me!
I run away from bread-y or sweet breakfasts, so I’m a big fan of yours 🍳🍚

Not a big deal, but for “plating”, rice is usually on the near left because you’d pick up the bowl with your left hand
I just remember this strongly because when I taught English in Japan and I ate lunch with 2nd graders they got mad when I switched the rice to the right side lol
Honestly the combination of miso soup, Japanese rice, and fish is just so good
