ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) – The 126th annual Italian Fest is coming to Ishpeming this weekend.
St. Rocco – St. Anthony Society of Ishpeming says there will be live music, arts and crafts vendors and games like a greased pole. The day-long picnic’s main attraction will be food vendors selling Italian staples like meatballs, Italian sandwiches and ice cream.
Organizers say everyone can enjoy Italian Fest no matter what their heritage is.
“You do not have to be Italian to be here,” St. Rocco – St. Anthony Society of Ishpeming President Jim Bertucci said. “This is a community event, so we hope everybody shows up. Come and enjoy the music and the good food.”
Italian Fest kicks off Saturday at noon at Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming.
