I got mini marshmallows. We’re playing will it rice krispie and today we’re using lucky charms. Grab yourself a stick of butter and cut it into six pieces. Now throw them in a pot. Now get yourself a little bag of marshmallows. This is a 10 oz bag. We’re using 15 oz. So we’re going to use one and a half. We’re also going to do six cups of cereal. Let’s cook. So we’re going medium low heat. Melt that butter. Add your marshmallows and just start stirring that around. You don’t want to go above a medium low. It’s going to take a little bit of time. Go ahead and just keep working it. Move it around. It might take 10 or 12 minutes. Eventually though, it’s going to get all melty. And at this point, we’re going to add in just a splash of vanilla. It’s going to be great flavor. Stir that in. Add one more handful of marshmallows. And don’t let those melt all the way. Go ahead and get that cereal in there. Now we’re going to start mixing this up. Just dump it all in. Just give a nice stir. Once you’re all really well incorporated, it’ll be time to pour it out into a glass dish. That’s what I’m using. Just kind of flatten it out. We don’t want it compacted. Now we wait. I’m just going to wrap it in a little bit of plastic. Set it aside. We’re ready. Guys, go ahead and cut this into whatever size chunks you want and just get in there and enjoy. Let’s try it out. Right off the bat, I get that Lucky Charm feel. Let’s try to get some of the charms. They’re magically delicious. It’s pretty good, and I like the little bites of the marshmallow. Super sweet, but it’s a nice little treat. Thanks for watching. Tuesday everyone.

  1. I never had a thing for rice crispy treats until I made them with brown butter – omg it was a game changer for me:)

  2. I love making freight train krispies, by using the remnants of all the cereal in the house. Raisin Bran, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Life, Frosted Flakes, Pebbles, and Reese's Puffs. Anything we had left over. You can mix it in rows or make it a hodge podge of flavors. You can top it with Andes Candies, Heath, Butterfinger, or whatever bits are found in the cooking isle, or crush it yourself. Chocolate chips melted on top or drizzle Hershey's syrups or caramel, hot fudge, and dust with nuts for ice cream toppings. I am pure evil, and guaranteed diabetes, but what a way to go. Same thing with smores, I can change your life. You should hear what I do to pizzas too.

  3. I made these once and added a pinch of salt, which balanced the sweetness & made them an out-of-this-world treat. So good!

  4. Almost every cereal can be used to make rice crispy treats or if you want to cereal treats fruity pebbles works very well too and Captain crunch Trix cereal works as well to

  5. My daughter and I made this toghether I have a gas range too and I could not go past low Also some people still buy whole sticks so to clarify It's a half stick of butter You really just need to add the cereal to mix off heat and I use aluminum foil to wrap to make sure the plastic didn't melt

  6. In regular rice krispy treats, I never thought of putting vanilla in. That's a good idea. I usually put in some sweet condensed milk but I'm adding vanilla next time.

  7. Man I haven’t had those since I was a child and my mother made them as a fun and inexpensive little treat for us . Miss you mom , everyday .

  8. I had a phase where I tried to "rice Krispie" all different cereals. Fruity pebbles worked AMAZING, golden grahms with chocolate chips, corn pops, cocoa Krispies, and waffle crisp was also very good.
