A dinner in the park, hosted by the Galva area Operation Christmas Child, is being held Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Veterans Park in downtown Galva.
The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. and the menu includes brown sugar-basted pulled ham sandwich, coleslaw, potato chips, cookies and lemonade or water. The cost of the meal will be $10, and an extra sandwich is $6.
The entertainment for the event will be Even Steven, a classic rock and country band.
In case of rain, the dinner will be held at the First United Methodist Church located at 214 NW 2nd Ave. in Galva.
Proceeds will benefit Galva’s Operation Christmas Child.
