The Chicken Churrasco Bowl will make its debut this October during National School Lunch Week.
OK, check this out. A new menu item is coming to a lunch line near you in Gwinnett County Schools. The district says it will debut several new food items this fall, including the Chicken churrasco bowl. Culinary art students at Berkmore High School created the dish, and it features a rice pilaf base topped with grilled chicken, homemade chimichurri sauce, green onion, and a slice of lime. The idea came from the classroom of chef Preston Gooch, who’s. Students are taught to create their own recipes rather than following existing ones. Gwinnett County offers culinary arts education at several high schools. Burkmore High expects about 400 students in its program when school starts back on Monday. Congratulations. That’s pretty neat to say you have a menu on the an item on the menu. That looks really tasty, as well a lot better than the mystery meat. — I know
— we’ve come a long way from school, PB and J for sure.
