Good morning and welcome to another video. Today I’m going to make a simple sandwich recipe for my breakfast. It’s called caprese in Italian, but you can also call it a mozzarella sandwich. And this is what it is. It’s one piece of bread. I use a panini. I like this. One mozzarella bowl. Now, in this case, I’m using two types of pesto, green and red. You can only use one up to. For the salad, I’m going to use a tiny leaf of Swiss chard. You can use rola uh rocket salad or spinach or anything you like. I’m going to use this tiny bits. And a bit of olive oil and slightly like a sliver of butter. Now, let’s get cooking. Now, first thing, I’m going to put the pan on, heat it up, and slice the mozzarella. I know it’s the bad angle in the camera. Okay, mozzarella slice. I’m also going to slice in half bread. There you go. Meanwhile, I’m going to wash the salad. Use one of these to drain my salad. And my son really likes to press the button. So, yeah, press the button. It spins really hard and it really drains away the water. Okay, there you go. Nice and dry. It’s crispy. It is crispy. Yes, it’s green and crispy still. It has holes in it. Okay, now my pan is pretty hot. I’m going to turn the heat. almost to a minimum. Add some olive oil. What oil, Dad? What’s olive oil? It’s this kind of oil. What? Why do you have to? Like I said, a little bit of butter. Not much. Something like something like this. Uh, yeah. Oh, it’s melting. Let me see if it’s melting. Okay. Let me see. What? [Music] [Music] Yo, the bus. See, let’s melt in. Now, we’re going to put the bread with this side in the pan. And you don’t have to, but I like to use something to weigh them on. Is it a present? [Music] What does a do? Meanwhile, I’m just going to trim off my salad a bit. [Music] I can trim it. So, why is this? Why are you turning it? In my case, I’m going to remove this hard stick. I just don’t like it. I don’t I don’t like how it feels. I don’t like you. Everyone doesn’t like it. Okay. A bit more here. [Music] There. These are salad bones. Salad bones. Yeah. Okay. That’s a new one. I think salad balls are good. I don’t know. But you have to cut off the salad bowls before you before you do that. Okay. Trim it like that. Now we trimmed it. It’s ready for our sandwich. I’m just going to put it here. I’m going to Yeah. I’m going to open the jars of pesto just to have them ready. And let’s check if the bread is ready. Can we check? Yep. Okay. Let’s see. Yes. Yes. Yes. Ready. Okay. So, the bread looks nice. Looks perfect, actually. Yes. It’s crispy. Now, I’m going to use pesto. Yes. Pesto. One tbsp of of pesto on each sides. Doesn’t matter which is which. Then you have to put both red and green on each side of the brick. What? Yeah. You have to you have to put you have to put the the green and the red pistol on each side. Yes. So, I’m done with the green pesto. Now, now I’m putting I love the red pesto. Now, this pesto is really nice. I have it from Aldi in the UK. I think it’s a pound for a jar and the jar last me for a week or maybe more. And even that one and even the green one. Even the green one. Yes. Okay. [Music] Now on the bottom, I like to put my green pesto usually, but it’s not a special rule. Let me try to do this. The bottom layer stick is start laying down your mozzarella. Mozzarella. [Music] Bake it down if you have to. Dad. Now on the other side, I’m going to put the salad. I’m just going to try to make it fit cuz that’s a lot of salad. You don’t have to put this much, but I like it. And now you like it this way. I like it this way. I’m going to add a little bit of unfiltered olive oil on the mozzarella. Oops, I put a bit too much, but that’s fine. Okay, now assemble it. Back in the pan again. Weigh it down. Wait, I wait. You You forgot to put meat in it. No, I did not forget to put meat. I didn’t want to put meat today. But how can I eat it as well? Okay. So, we have the sandwich here. The top. I don’t like mozzarella. Of course you like mozzarella. You like mozzarella in your pizza. I don’t like mozzarella. I already like the one. I I already like the mozzarella with meat, not the white one. Okay. The mozzarella with meat. Yes. This time, this sandwich is without meat. Okay. Now, we just wait for like a minute. After a minute, flip it. [Music] Leave it for another minute and it will be ready. Okay, I think it’s ready now. Let’s double check. Yes, that’s enough for me. Okay, now let’s see. I’m going to cut it in half. There you go. It’s a really nice looking and tasty sandwich. Look at this. [Music] If you want and if you have, you can also add some procto but I didn’t have today. Now it’s time to enjoy it. [Music] Simply amazing. The best thing you can eat to start your day. Thank you for watching. I’ll see you next time. Bye.
