WESTLAKE, Ohio – Chopt Creative Salad Co. is set to open the first of two Northeast Ohio locations next week.

It’s at Crockers Commons, 2207 Crocker Road, Unit C, Westlake.

A location in Woodmere is slated to open this summer.

A pre-opening celebration will be Wednesday, Aug. 6, with 100% of sales benefiting the Ohio-based Children’s Hunger Alliance. Hours that day will be 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Grand opening is slated for Thursday, Aug. 7. Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Chopt’s focus is on salads, warm bowls, wraps and sandwiches with customizable options – greens and grains, proteins, toppings and dressings.

The Crocker Commons location is the second Chopt location nationwide to offer a full sandwich menu, including chipotle turkey, turkey club, spicy avotuna and caprese sandwiches. The drink lineup includes house sweet tea, cucumber jalapeño chiller, blueberry coconut chiller and strawberry squeeze lemonade.

For opening weekend, free weekly Chopt for a year will be awarded to 20 people. To enter, customers must order with their Chopt Rewards account Thursday, Aug. 7, to Sunday, Aug. 10.

Chopt accepts orders via in-store kiosk or pickup through the Chopt website or app.

Chopt, founded in New York City in 2001, has more than 80 eateries in multiple states.
