Pain au Chocolat, Kouign-amann, and Pistachio Cream Danish.

I'm a sucker for chocolate croissants and Fondry's ratio of pastry-to-chocolate is nice.

The pistachio cream was for my dad, and he really enjoyed it. He loved that all the sweetness came only from the pistachio cream and was a nice complement to the subtle savoriness of the danish.

The Kouign-amman was for my partner. She likes it the most here, and said it's not as dense/overwhelming as other ones she's had (the ones that look like they're folded over the top)

I think I prefer Fondry over a place like Artelice, which is also very good. So far, nothing tops Lou the French and Arsicault up in SF.

A nice treat for myself and my loved ones every now and then as these places are pricey.
