Bardstown is a great bourbon choice. I recommend any of their wine aged bourbons for steak pairing personally.

From a professional dog trainer don’t give your dog cooked bones, especially in awkward shapes like that. They can get lodged going down and not want to come up easily. Happened to us recently (accidental) and cost a hefty 4K to fix.

I know you’re going to need to give your dog something if not the bone next time.
I set the trimmings aside unseasoned and sear them then chop them up then toss them on my guys food when I’m done eating.
Also will take any guests trimmings and rinse with the sink sprayer to get seasonings off then chop those up too.
Onion and garlic is also no bueno for the doggo
