I usually go to La Unica, the Mexican bakery next door, but I decided to finally try this for breakfast. Amongst the Turkish restaurant boom in the GTA, I noticed this Kurdish restaurant specializing in cig kofte, a sort of spiced "meatless meatball" made from bulgur. It is vegan friendly.
There are not a restaurants serving this afaik, but I've seen it at a few other Turkish restaurants. Taste is sweet, umami (despite being meatless), with some slight acidity and spice. Texture is slightly grainy but not unpleasantly so. It's a great snack IMO. Eat it with squeeze lemon wrapped with the lettuce given.
This portion was 12.99. The rest of the menu is standard Turkish fare.
