.I’ll never understand cooking food in heated up plastic for hours to save two minutes of cleaning.

That plastic ends up in your brain.

I always use my slow cooker to cook beef stew OR my Dutch oven.
This looks good to me.
Did you serve alone, over rice, or mashed potatoes?

It looks really good but please don’t cook in plastic.

Needs a bunch of carrots too. They are amazing in the beef stew.

I don’t use the plastic bag, but it looks freaking amazing otherwise!!

Does stuff actually get stuck in your slow cooker? All I ever need to do afterwards is wash it normally, maybe a soak. It’s really not hard.

Everyone is talking about your plastic and not the stew….maybe a good indicator for your next post 🤣

Stew looks passable. Plastic bag is moronic.

Looks pretty good. I would attempt to make the pieces of meat a bit bigger than the potatoes so when the meat shrinks with cooking it ends up a similar size to the potatoes. I’m assuming you are using a good cut of meat like chuck, with a good amount of collagen. Have you added a roux to thicken it at the end? It can make a huge difference to the consistency of the sauce. I also like to tie my herbs together into a bouquet garni so I can remove it before serving easily, so no-one is accidentally getting a mouthful of bitter herbs or having to pick the bay leaves out before taking a bite.
