Through blending French cooking techniques with the flavour and spice of Lebanon’s Mediterranean ingredients, Toum is the ultimate modern-day Rotisserie✨
.
The menu at Toum centres around The Rotisserie Chicken, served as a whole, half or quarter portion with a choice of their traditional Lebanese Garlic Sauce, Spicy Chimichurri, Chicken Jus or Cafe de Paris Butter 👌🏻
.
Other dishes we tried from the menu included:
– Musakhan rolls with pulled chicken, caramelised onions and sumac
– Seabass carpaccio with orange and pink peppercorn
– Burrata with fava beans, peas and lemon
– Hallumi kataifi with hot honey
– Grilled aubergine with yoghurt fatteh, pomegranate and pine nuts
– Baby artichoke with spicy tahini
– Baked tahini cookie with milk and white chocolate and vanilla ice cream
– Rose soft serve
.
The chickens at TOUM are cooked to a rigorous regime -brined for up to 12 hours in a special blend of herbs, & then air-dried for at least 24 hours before being roasted for around 50-55 minutes and served straight from the rotisserie to the customer. The remaining chicken is placed in warming drawers designed to retain their natural juices, ensuring that they stay warm, moist and tender. And I can confirm their method works because this was one of the best rotisserie chickens I’ve ever tried🔥
.
I also loved the musakhan rolls with the pulled chicken, the creamy burrata with fava beans and the fresh seabass carpaccio. The tahini cookie to finish was also divine 🤤
.
Also worth trying are their mini cocktails – the artichoke negroni was so lovely 🍸
.
Great spot overall – loved the French Lebanese fusion and the excellent rotisserie chicken. Highly recommend checking it out 💯#invite
