Reduced salt beef broth with red wine. 3hrs slow cooked in the oven in my Römertopf clay Dutch oven. Will be adding potatoes to the leftover stew, to enjoy with fresh Artisanal bread from my son's Italian bakery 😋.
Oh, Made the pies in 2 different ways to see which one held better, pie crust to filling ratio. The vent holes had got covered in the springform round pan, so the middle rose quite unattractively
