What a finicky plant. It’s been hot in Virginia this summer, and wet. She’s dropped flower after flower and gotten pissed about the heat and water. She’s seemed to stabilize and I’ve got peppers now but this is the first one. This plant has been going since late April and it took about a hundred days to get the first one. Cayennes, jalapeños, sweets, & cubanelle have all been thriving but the reapers are a big learning experience this year. With reapers a little goes a long way but man, you gotta be patient with them for sure. How have your super hots handled the season?
