Hey y’all, just wanted to share a cool birthday freebie tip for anyone in Austin who uses the Toast app.
A lot of restaurants around here offer free rewards through Toast, especially around your birthday. Here’s how to find them:
1. Open the Toast app and search for your favorite local spots.
2. Look for places that say they offer rewards under the name.
3. Tap the restaurant, then tap the rewards tab at the top, and hit sign up.
4. Some places give you points just for signing up — usually around 25 points.
5. Go back to the rewards tab and complete your profile by adding your name and birthday.
I just got an email saying my birthday reward will be available to redeem starting August 1st, even though my birthday isn’t until later in the month. Looks like the reward is good from August 1 through August 31.
Not sure how it works if you sign up mid-month, but I figured I’d share this in case anyone else wants to grab some birthday goodies. Free or cheap food is always a win.
